Summary: The WORST Phone EVER
Review: Amazon is the best, and offers the best deals anywhere. However this phone is the WORST!

I never realized how bad it could be until my daughter swallowed some day glow liquid from one of the silly party bracelets. In calling our doctor, local ER and Poison Control Center, I was so frustrated that I couldn't hear anything they said (the static is so bad). To complicate matters, the dialing is so slow that it added to the stress. Thank G-d for cell phones!!!

Do not buy this phone, because you will never know in an emergency if it will perform.

Summary: A Horrible Phone
Review: I bought this phone because I needed a cordless 2 line phone. The phone get allots of static and interfernce. The speakerphone has poor sound quality. The rest of the functions though present do not work well i caller id memory .

Summary: Very disappointing!
Review: I bought this phone/answering machine based on some of the other comments I saw here and am VERY disappointed. The static was so bad on the first call I attempted (and switching channels did not help at all) that I had to pull out and reconnect my old phone. I've tested several calls since then and at BEST there is clicking and intermittent static. My 8 year old Sony phone works far better than this product!

Summary: nice little 2 line cordless
Review: I was looking for a moderately priced 2-line cordless with caller-id and there aren't a lot of choices...

Because of the mixed reviews here, I was wary - and bought this under the Radio Shack label so I could easily return to my local store if I had any problems...

BUT it's a nice phone. No problems.
One feature not mentioned in the "editorial" is that you can store NAMES and numbers in the handset memory/speed-dial and scroll through to select - just like most cell phones.

Summary: sound clarity.
Review: This the first cordless phone we have had whose audio quality is as good as or superior to a corded phone. You can hear people clearly and distinctly even at some distance from the base unit. We have yet to experience reverberation the way you do on some cordless phones. Combine it with a headset you also get hands free mobility and don't lose anything in sound quality.

The phone has two features that we especially like. First, you may pick up the phone from the base unit and start talking immediately, just as you would on a corded phone. We like that. Second, you can pick up the handset when it's not on the base and hit any key on it to start talking. You don't have to look for the line 1 or line 2 key to start your conversation.

We would like it to have the feature that allows you to get immediately to a stored phone number by hitting an alpha key on your touchpad and bringing up your stored number by name. This has been a great feature on other phones. On this one, however, we get to a stored number by scrolling through the numbers in their stored locations until you get the number you want.
