Rating: Summary: A FANTASTIC phone Review: I previously purchased a 2.4GHZ GE phone and a 5.8GHZ Uniden phone, they both looked nice and had good features but the range was completely unacceptable. So I wanted to make sure this time that I would get a GOOD phone. After reading the reviews on Amazon, and considering it was a Panasonic and with the technology behind it, I decided to purchase it. I must say, I was not disappointed.Pros 1) Great range, especially compared to the cordless phones available these days. Where my Uniden phone couldn't even get a signal I could go with this and still talk. 2) Exceptional clarity. As soon as you hear the dialtone, the quality is just there. Just as good and sometimes better than a corded phone. 3) Speakerphone. The speakerphone on each handset is a very useful feature, but unlike many other phones this speakerphone is great. The person on the other end usually can't tell you're on speakerphone. 4) Answering machine. This answering is more than adequate and better than the one on my previous phone as it allows you to customise just about all you will need to. The default greeting message is also very adequate. 5) Expandable. Many people nowadays need multiple handsets, and this phone comes with an extra, which is EXCEPTIONAL for this kind of price and phone quality. And due to the range, there would be little problem placing the extra handsets too far from the base. 6) Handset. The handset is almost perfect. It is very light, which is great (some handsets can be very heavy). It feels very good and is very ergonomic. The feel and layout of the buttons, the menus and sounds actually could not be better. I was EXTREMELY impressed with the overall handset. Some people may have a problem with the antenna, it could get in the way sometimes, but I guess thats what you have to get if you want quality and range. There are also a few other nice 'little' features about this phone. Cons 1) Not very attractive. Compared to some other phones, this phone can be considered fairly ugly, but its still very acceptable. 2) Antenna. The antenna is fairly long and non-adjustable and may sometimes get in the way. In all this phone is an exceptional product, and you almost certainly can't go wrong with buying it (unless you are VERY picky). But if you know about the cordless phones presently available, you would even be more thankful for a product of this quality. Even if you don't need the expandability, or some of the other features, you should still buy this phone, because of just the voice quality and range. For all of you looking for all the great features in one very good quality package, here it is.
Rating: Summary: Acceptable replacement Review: I received my phone a yesterday, I charged it a full 24 hours, went to use it and there is an annoying buzzing sound on both phones. It is so frustrating and loud. I am very disappointed! I will NEVER buy Panasonic again. I am sending this back ASAP and going to try a different phone. Beware of this phone, save yourself some hassle and go with a different brand.

Rating: Summary: Great cordless phone + walkie talkie solution! Review: I wanted a cordless phone to replace a dead Panasonic KX-TG2650 (2.4 GHz cordless phone with speakerphone). In addition, I wanted a phone that has an answering machine built in. Finally, I wanted a cordless phone which offered good range. I narrowed down my choices by reading epinions.com, ranking of popular phones at amazon.com, and recommendations from cordlessphonesamerica.com. This model appeared to fit my bill. After a week of use, I'm convinced I made the right choice. Calls are clear, except when I turn on the microwave -- I hear a few clicks when that happens. But that's expected of cordless phones that operate on the 2.4GHz bandwidth. This model allows you to have conversations between handsets (walkie talkie feature :-)) In addition, you can transfer incoming phone calls from one handset to another, and conference into the conversation after the transfer, if needed. You may also page handsets from the base. The answering system feature is adequate for my needs, and is conveniently accessible from the handset. The speakerphone feature on the handset is an incredible convenience. I compared this with the KX-TG2730S. I liked the all black appearance of this phone, plus its NiMH batteries. The KX-TG2730S comes with NiCD batteries -- don't want the memory effect. Hope this helps you.
Rating: Summary: Just what I needed Review: I was originally looking at a Uniden phone. However, some friends of mine told me to stay away from Uniden and VTech. They both endorsed Panasonic. The phone installed easily and has a wealth of features. I like the fact that you don't need more than 1 phone jack and can plug the second handset into any outlet. Pros: Phone functions very well; calls are clear Speakerphone option works great when you need both hands free or multiple parties need to speak. Answering machine works well. Great battery life (with power-level indicator) The only con is the fact that the phone is so slim, you'll crane your neck more to hold it against your shoulder. If you'll be on for a while, use the speakerphone option instead.
Rating: Summary: Fabulous Review: Idel for anyone who is tired of all the poor quality cordless phones with limited features. has unlimited features, great clear screens, excellent voice quality and a clear mialbox for messages. The only slight diadvantage - no automatic redial. Its the ideal cordless phone for everybody.
Rating: Summary: i love this phone setup Review: just got this phone setup in spite of some of the negative reviews. The phone sounds great and the speakerphone sounds excellent! The only way people even know I have them on speaker is when there is noise from outdoors (i live in Manhattan so that happens a lot...sirens etc)....so far I think this is an amazing deal and an excellent purchase....
Rating: Summary: Affordable, simple and functional Review: Just perfect, exactly what I need. I don't need the one with large base and complicated function. This is so perfect to put in my small apartment.
Rating: Summary: almost unique in market, great phone! Review: let's start with the NiMH battery...small thing? NOT! no memory effect means it will not become progressivley "weaker" with each use AND you can place it back in its cradle after each use. Reception has been great in my difficult on wireless, cinderblock and iron, re-bar laden, house. Feature set is "full-house". I have little to criticize, perhaps my only niggling problem is when I want to shut down the ringer on a handset, like I do at night on the handset in my bedroom, I have to navigate a multi-layer menu instead of having a more direct ringer switch like some other models do. However I am immensely happy with this unit!
Rating: Summary: The Phone That Met All My Requirements Review: The Panasonic KX-TG2385B with it's 3 cordless phones in one, digital answering machine, intercom, caller ID and handset speakerphone works so flawlessly that it met all my phone needs. It is very clear and does everything it was promised to do by the manufacturer. I previously owned a 900mhz panasonic and the experience I had with that encouraged me to buy this 2.4GHz and I more that love this phone and I recommend it highly to all you gadget lovers. Please read the instructions and follow it.
