Review: even though you have to crank your system way up to get any volume on these things, the sound quality is great.... deep lows and clear highs.....because of the 40mm elements the bass is awsome!!...for 5 bucks these things are the best deal on the market...if you have a tight budget the jensen jm10 s are highly recemended....

Review: For 5 bucks! What a great deal. I use my Jensen headphones with my MP3 player and it sound just as good as my Sony $50 headphones. Also the volume and on/off control is a pretty good feature. I don't know what everyone is talking about when they say the sound seems far away. Maybe you have poor volume control on your unit itself. The structure of the headphones is pretty good also. They are nice and durable. I almost didn't buy these phones because I didn't think I could get a good pair for $5, but now I am happy I did.

Review: I bought this because I needed good phones without the extra bulk. They're really lightweight, but not flimsy. They have very good sound quality. I really like the volume control on the headphones themselves. It gives me the extra level of control. All in all, a really good bang for your buck.

Review: I can't understand how Jensen delivers such a high qualityproduct for just a low price. The bass is most impressive, with the right amount of thump without overpowering other sounds. The earpads are comfortable enough for extended listening, and the adjustable headband is nice and substantial - not one of those thin metal bands you usually find on "budget" headphones. The long single cord is another plus - much more comfortable and convenient than headphones that have an under-chin yolk style cord. Volume control is also conveniently placed. I definitely don't feel like I'm compromising on sound quality when I listen to my favorite CDs on these headphones.

Summary: Jensen JM10 review
Review: I find the build quality, the comfort level, and the fit to be very good at this price. The sound of the JM10 however, is absolutely unfit for human listening. Listening to them on my Panasonic Shockwave walkman, the sound output is so weak, you could barely tell they are working. I have never encountered any headphones in my life that were this weak in sound output. As such, 5 dollars or not, it's money wasted, as I find they are not fit for the purpose they are designed for, namely portable stereos. I am shocked that Recoton would release a product as poor as this on the market, because it reflects poorly of their entire line. Had the JM10's been my first Jensen headphone, I would never have wanted to listen to or purchas anything else from this company.However, I had previously heard the JM15's (backphone model), and was quite impressed by them, finding them better than any other I've heard in their price range, and they happen to retail at the same price as the JM10's (although I far prefer the headband design on the JM10's). When listening to the JM15's 2 minutes after hearing the JM10's on the very same walkman with the very same tape/song, the output of the JM15's are more than loud enough, and the sound quality is immensely better than the JM10's at any volume; despite the fact that the JM10 has larger drivers than the JM15. So there is indeed a problem with the design of the Jensen JM10's. I also tried listening to them on a stereo system, found I had to crank the amp up tremendously, and what I did hear had no bass to speak of, more distortion than music in the midrange, and tinny highs. A complete dud, and I'm only glad I was able to return them. Rating: 0 out of 5

Review: I found the sound quality to be quite decent, until you turn the volume up to a reasonable level. When the volume is up, it starts chirping at me. I can't hear the chirping when I plug into my stereo, so I assume it has something to do with these headphones. Has anyone else had this problem?

Summary: Big Let Down
Review: I was looking forward to getting new headphones, but I wish I'd either spent more money on a better pair or less money for something that was equally disappointing.
First of all, they were too big for my head. The minimum adjustment holds the speakers centered on my earlobe. If you have a smaller head (can wear kid-sized glasses for example), I suggest you look elsewhere.
The second disappointment was in the extra volume control. I assumed that I could get louder sound with two volume controls (the one on the headphones and the one on the CD player). Actually, the volume ended up being less than what I got out of my [...] headphones from Walgreens.
On the plus side, the swivel cups make them easier to carry around, and I don't have to be as careful when storing them because I don't worry about breaking off the speakers.

Summary: Great product for the bucks!@
Review: I was rather surprised with this product. I was just expecting a cheap pair of headphones for me to use in my language class. However, I'm pleased with the audio output capabilities, especially for being so inexpensive. I like that you can adjust the volume in two places (on the stereo/walkman and on the headset), and I like that you can turn the headphones off without stopping the music. Very convenient! Nice long cord too. The headset part that connects the two earphones is rubber, which is good because the headphones stay in place better. This has pretty good punch when it comes to bass too, which is good since I listen to lots of techno. Great product for a great price!
