Summary: For the price, nothing compares
Review: Anybody who has bought headphones in the $10-30 range has probably experienced the same thing I have: lousy sound. I listened to a friend's set of high-end Sennheiser headphones last year and the brand name stuck in my head. So a few weeks ago I decided to buy a set of headphones and went for the low end of the brand I knew. It was a good thing I did.

First, the cord is of good length, 10 feet. This wasn't a big concern as I was originally planning on using these at work but just for fun I decided to test them on my home stereo system (Harman/Kardon) and a DVD (The Matrix, what else!). I put the volume to a level that would normally get readings on a Richter scale and let it rip. I was amazed at the clarity of the sound, richness of the bass, and above all, no distortion. That was something I didn't expect from a $20 pair of headphones. Needless to say, these haven't made it into work with me yet as they reach to my couch just fine. I still watch movies without the headphones when I can, but at night they're perfect. Another great thing about these are don't get uncomfortable during extended periods of time.

If you're looking for some great quality, low priced headphones, these are the ones you need.

Summary: Excellent phones
Review: At this price, surely these aren't really good headphones. Doubtless, a real Audiophile would scoff. They sound great to me though. The bass is lush, the highs are transparent. I'd say it's one of the best $[money] I've ever spent on a piece of electronics.

Summary: Good cheap 'phones, but a can be a bit uncomfortable
Review: Fine sound (excellent treble - you can hear that "snap" of acoustic guitar strings, or cymbals), and they also definitely enhanced the reception of my pocket radio.

The adjustments are unconventional, so it took me some time to find the best setting to fit my head, and until then, my ears complained after only 10 minutes. Since then, an hour or so is feasable...but they still clamp down hard.

I can recommend them heartily to those of you in colder climates, bedause they cover the entire ear, and would be serve as musical earmuffs when it gets below freezing outdoors.

Summary: Just ok headphones
Review: Frequency Response is narrow and the total harmonic distortion is too high (~1%). I am not an audiophile but this headphone is too flat for my taste. Hence the just average rating. One can adjust the headphones to fit (u just have to pull down on the speakers down or up) and I found these headphones comfortable.

Summary: Great for the Money I spent
Review: How good your headphones will sound depends a lot on the system you plug it into. This above all things is important when looking at the darn things. If you try to plug these into a $15 cd player, they will sound awful. When hooked to a fine system, they are absolutely fantastic.

1.They are really light. 2. THe cord is super long 3. They deliver great bass but can still do justice to classical and jazz

4. The foam cushion can be uncomfortable at times. 5. THEY PRODUCE CRISP SOUND.

I would suggest spending more money for the hd500 series. They are a lot more comfortable. THese are really good for walking around town with.

Summary: fantastic
Review: I am not an headphone expert, and when I bought those I was looking for good sound quality and especially comfort. This is exactly what I got: those headphones adapt perfectly to your ears and the pressure is evenly distributed, so you don't feel them at all. On top of it you get a super long cord, which makes them very convenient, and an adaptor to plug the headphones into anything between a laptop to a hi-tech tv. And the price is unbeatable. An excellent deal!

Summary: Good brand, good price, good product
Review: I bought my HD 433s in Jan. 01 and I have no complaints. The sound quality is very good and the design is above average. I also like that it comes with an adapter, the cord is long and the phones themselves are not over-the-ear. I use them at work, so I appreciate being able to hear some outside noise if somebody is trying to get my attention. It makes it a little harder to tune out the world completely unless you're in a quiet room, so if you're looking for sound immersion, I'd go with an over-the-ear design.

Summary: Little Better Than Stock Headphones
Review: I bought them to replace the dinky headphones that came with my Walkman SRF-M35. There is simply no comparison between the quality of the HD 433 and what you get packaged with portable radios, MP3 and CD players. On the other hand, I use them to listen to NPR and only very occasionally for music. With headsets you get what you pay for and this is pretty [low priced]. It's a good value, but I don't ever use these to listen to music or DVD movies on my computer. They simply can't churn out a sound I can pay close attention to when it comes to music and movies. But I go through headphones for my Walkman pretty fast and the HD 433 seems about right price/performance for me.

The ten foot cord is a bit of a nuisance. I imagine that anyone using all that extra length for strenuous exercise risks ripping the minijack out their stereo. I looped mine and bound it with velcro since it really got in the way during jogging. I suppose someone could use the length for watching TV or sitting more comfortably away from his or her equipment.

They seem very durable compared to almost everything I've seen in this price range. I think they're comfy.

Summary: Great Product for a Great Price
Review: I bought these headphone to listen to music and block out chatter at work. The most important factor for me when deciding which headphones to buy was comfort. I have had these headphone for about 7 months now and they're great. They are ultra-comfortable and I can keep them on for the greater part of the day without even realizing that I have them on. The only negative thing that I have to say about this set is that they are not very effective at preventing sound from leaking out. So if you like to listen to your music at a really high volume, people around you will be disrupted. Other than that, these headphones work really well (sound quality is great) and [the cost], are a great deal.
