Summary: Pretty Good, just don't compare them to Sennheiser
Review: My judgement of these Phones is after 3 years of solid use. After 100s of times accidently getting up with my foot on the cord, the cord still stays in place, without any loss in sound quality. So that takes care of build quality
The sound, very superb, you can say they hold much detail in visualization of sound for a huge variety of instruments. Sounds i have never heard on my hi fi stereo and my pioneer speakers are produced here with very awesome spacing, reverb replication, sound fading, and surround that i didn't think was possible for a cheapo Headset. I have been hearing instruments that sound as live as in person, something that isn't normal to be heard in my experience. I am not an experienced audiophile, but I do know these phones are pretty decent.
Well let's get this straight, Just don't compare this to a carver or Sennheiser headphone that is 300 bucks. These headphones easily beat many basic studio phones running 70 dollars. And anything in this price range for that matter.
Another thing is your sound source. My hi fi stereo, sony, didn't really produce much cutting sonic clarity and sounds a bit muffled and underpowered. I thought my headphones were crappy until tonight, i plugged these puppies as one last chance, into my soundcard and was blown away!..Well not like the sennheiser, but still!
Just remember the sound will will be as good as your source.
I can't recommend these for walkmans, cause its bulky and with a long cord. But i use a tie for it. And most walkmans won't produce the quality to make these sound good.
Overall, I am impressed. I give it 5 stars, cause it beats all in its price range and above a little. When you go to the 70+ range, these aren't better, and anything by Sennheiser makes this sound weak.

Summary: great sound, great price
Review: There's a large market for headphones in the $20 to $40 price range, and this set is among the best.
The earcups rest comfortably against the side of your head without pressing into your ear at all. I find that I can wear these headphones for hours on end without getting sore ears, which would happen with several other similarly-priced headphones I have tried.
The level of sound blocking done by these earcups is phenomenal. You can wear them without even plugging them in and enjoy a significant reduction in ambient noise. This also adds to the quality of sound you get when listening to music, particularly in noisier environments.
My only complaint is the volume knob in the cord. The knob sticks out symmetrically from both sides of the plastic housing, so it's impossible to tell which direction to rotate it to increase or decrease the volume without either trying and listening, or looking at the black-on-black markings, which are very hard to see.
These work great with an iPod, I find that leaving the headphone volume knob turned up all the way (which essentially means that it's passing the signal through without dampening it) and the iPod around half volume is a comfortable listening level.

Summary: Great bass and comfortable too
Review: These headphones deliver excellent bass from the 40mm drivers. I did find the mid range and treble to be less quality, but still very acceptable for the price.The phones are really light and comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. They also block outside sound and don't "leak" sound to others around you even when listening at high volume. I use these with my home system so I really like the 16 foot cord. If you were using these with a portable walkman the cord might be too long. All in all these are great headphones, especially for the price. You would have to pay at least double to do better.

Review: These headphones offer very good isolation (I have missed a few telephone calls because I could not hear the phone ring), they also have satisfying sound especially for those who want their bass heavy. These are great headphones for the average audio enthusiast. If you are into the "audiophile" sound go with some Grado's (at over twice the price of these are still a great value). Admittedly these headphones do not have the greatest detail in response, and the bass is a little too "there" to be linear. If you find the detail lacking and want to experiment with your headphones you can try adding sound deadening material to the inside of the housing and removing the felt from the back of the driver. Also if you "burn in" these headphones for a day or two the sound does improve.

Summary: great phones for the price
Review: These phones have great bass response and produce great all around sound. Actually, much better than i expected for 30 dollars. They are very comfortable too. And, to the reviewer before me- you just got a bad set, i've had mine for over a year and have had no problems, and they still sound great. The only bad thing is the dual sided cord, they should have made it one side like they're more expensive ones. all around great sound and great comfort for 30 bucks, its a steal.

Review: This is a MUST get for anyone looking for a cheap, excellent headphones.
SIZE
A bit too big to walking on the street with. However, its great if you don't plan to take it out with you. It fits my ears nicely and its very comfortable. The chord length is a great bonus for me. I can hook it up to my computer, sit on my bed and watch movies without bending my back. Its 16 FT. LONG.
Sound Quality
I'm no audiophile, but to me the sound quality is really great. Its definitely more than average. Bass response is great for its price. It blocks outside noise quiet well, and also it doesn't leak noise at all at medium volume levels.
Durability
Don't know as I just got 'em 2 hours ago. But they look pretty sturdy, but the long chord may also cut short its lifetime. Lets see....
Other Features
Its got an in-line volume control. WOW! This is great plus for me. My laptop doesn't have multimedia keys and my desktop doesn't have a wireless keyboard, so this is very convinient.
Conclusion
This is best headphones you can get under $30.00, hands down. Don't look further. This is the product you want to get if your budget is tight and don't care much about the LATEST technology.
This is an excellent product at a very reasonable price.

Summary: GREAT SOUND, GREAT VALUE
Review: You can't beat these terrific headphones for rich, high-quality sound, sturdy construction and overall value. The selling points for me were the extra-long cord (over 16 feet), the in-cord volume control, and the large, heavily-padded earpieces. These comfortable phones can be worn for hours. They are well-contructed and can stand up to a lot of abuse. I should know. I sat on them more than once with, amazingly, no harm done. But I finally trashed them the other night after accidentally stepping on them, breaking off one of the earpieces. But they were still working! I'm just too lazy and mechanically inept to reaffix the damaged earpiece. So I just bought a new pair. And they were even cheaper than they were a couple of years ago. I highly recommend these headphones.
