Summary: Great for the price
Review:

...Headset : Voice is very clear. The buttons are soft unlike the cheap... phones I used in the past. The buttons look fine but I dont know how they would perform when you use them a lot. The range is pretty good. i used this phone from various place sin my apartment complex and it worked. Its 2.4 GHz by the way. The design is sleek and fits in the hand very well.

Base : Base it as small as it could be. It DOES NOT have speaker phone. The holes you see on base are for answering machine.

Answering machine : All regular features. Remote access. But only two digit code. So if someone is deperate to invade your privacy they could dial less than 100 times and see all messages. There is tolll saver mode in ringer so that when you dial your number for checking messages the ans m/c picks up after 2 rings if there are new messages and after 4 rings otherwise. That way you can hang up after 2 rings to save toll.

Overall I am very happy with this phone. But if you need other features like caller id, speaker phone go for another one shelling out extra bucks.

Summary: It's so nice, I bought it twice (sort of)
Review: I bought the model with the answering machine, and the rest of my family liked it so well, I bought another one (this one with out the answering machine). The phone works remarkably well. I am used to corded phones, and not being limited by wires is great. The sound quality is good, but there are occasional clicks that I and the person I am talking to can hear. Changing the channel seems to help occasionaly--could be interference. All in all, a very good phone.

Summary: No problems
Review: I was actually planning to purchase a non-cordless phone, because I was concerned about a cordless phone's succeptibility to interference. But after not finding a suitable non-cordless phone (inexpensive with built-in digital answering machine) at the store, I purchased this one.

I never had any problems with this phone, interference or otherwise, so I have no reason to give it less than 5 stars.

Summary: Terrible Interference - Spend your $ on a better phone
Review: Spend your money on a better phone. I bought the Uniden EXA-2245 2.4 GHz Analog Cordless Phone with Digital Answering a few months ago. I have never had a problem with Uniden before, but this is the WORST phone I have ever had. There is so much interference. I can't have a phone conversation without hearing 3-4 other conversations at the same time. The most irritating part is that the interfering conversations are crystal clear, while my conversation is static-y and oftentimes lost completely due to the interference. Even sitting right next to the base does not help. THIS IS THE WORST PHONE! My old 900mhz phone was better than this. I have to buy yet another phone now to replace this piece of junk. The answering machine part is OK though.

Summary: Phone works perfectly
Review: The phone works fine. Good range, crystal clear, no problems at all. Just don't mount the thing right next (1-5 inches) to an electrical socket and you shouldn't get any interference. You wouldn't put a TV antenna in a clump of cords and cable so why mount the phone base next to the same thing. If that isn't common sense to you read the manual, it specifically lays out how get clear sound. Buy the thing.

Summary: A quality combination
Review: The sound quality and the range are better than the dozen or so other makes I have tried. The phone uses analog voice transmission, so the voice quality is far superior to a digital system that samples the sound, converts the signal to digital code and then back to analog. The digital memory answering machine works perfectly.

Summary: It's so nice, I bought it twice (sort of)
Review: This is an excellent cordless phone considering the low price and the fact that it's analog instead of digital. I can't believe the long range! I've taken the handset outside far from the house, even across the street, and the reception was still just as good as it was inside the house. The answering machine works well also. It's very easy to set and program this answering machine because it voice prompts the menu and settings. This is a great choice if you're looking for a good budget-friendly telephone/answering machine combination.
