Rating: Summary: Annoyingly complicated Review: Don't like the phone. It's so short that if I have the earpiece over my ear, the mouthpiece is so far from my mouth callers have trouble hearing me. It's not any clearer than my 900MHz Panasonic, nor is the range any better.Don't like the answering machine either. The buttons and display are so tiny I have to study the phone in good lighting to see what I want to do. I miss the old push-a-big-button style of answering machine where the messages can be heard as you wander around the room. The weak electronic voice sound on this unit forces me to stay within a foot of the phone, hitting replay with annoying regularity. This is not a convenient appliance, nor is its use intuitive.
Rating: Summary: great phone Review: i've had this phone for about a year now and i'm very pleased with it. i used to have a uniden phone which was a great dissapointment. the siemens 4015 has a good design, it is easy to use, compact, with all the features you'd want (caller ID, answering machine, etc). i noticed that many phones do not necessarily have both features included. the battery life is also really long in comparison to many phones around that run out after just a couple hours. this is a great phone and i would recomend it to anyone looking to buy a home telephone.
Rating: Summary: Great Phone! Review: This phone is very easy to program - much easier than my cell phone. The answering machine light flashes brightly and messages can be picked up by pushing just one button. I also appreciate the sleek design and lightweight handset. By far this is the nicest cordless I have ever owned.
Rating: Summary: disappointing Review: This phone has been quite disappointing. The buttons do not seem to respond well, and it has been particularly difficult to delete messages. As a result, the messages build up until the phone has to be unplugged to clear the mailbox. I would not recommend this phone to anyone.
Rating: Summary: Just right Review: Sleek, smart, and reliable. Most of the hardware is in the handset, so you have all the functions at your fingertips. Good sound quality and good user interface. It makes the Panasonic phone look like Legos. No complaints. (Just don't buy Panasonic, or your battery woes will never end.)
Rating: Summary: Phone is fine, but the answering machine is so so. Review: The phone has a sleek design. It has many advanced features only seen in celluar phones. If you own a celluar phone, you don't need to worry about comments regarding hard-to-get-used in the beginning. This is my first 2.4Ghz phone set. While the reception range is larger, I don't see any significant improvement in the reception quality from my old Panasonic 900mhz one. Most of the times I can hear tiny statics in the background. This takes one star off. The answering machine is poorly designed. You can't delete all the exisitng messages at once. You have to do it one by one. Not clever! Now I even mess up with the answering machine by pressing other buttons accidentally while listening to it. It is kind of in short circuit. So far I still don't know how to fix it. That is another star off.
Rating: Summary: Can you hear me now? Review: I have these phones sitting in a box waiting for me to get around to selling them to someone on eBay. I feel a little bit guilty about that because they were so useless in my home. Granted we have an old stone house with thick walls, but the Uniden cordless phones I got to replace these work fine. When I called the company to see what to do about the ceaseless popping, buzzing and dropped signals they advised that the phone was not for distance but for security so I should talk in the same room as the base stand. Silly really. Don't waste your money.
Rating: Summary: Great cordless phone! Review: I would give 4.5 star rather than 5 star thogh, Great cordless phone that i ever owned. Easy to program and ringtone is pretty cool to me. I've heard that some reviewer said This phone has an stupid ringtone, difficult to use and have no Page function ,but in my opinion i think this phone is similar as cell phone even ringtone, very easy to program and the Page buttom is locate underneath the base. Range is pretty good also ,but it has some noise(about 0.5 sec then the noise disappeared i guess it changed the channel) about 150 feet above the base 1 floor (up stair, I put base in my room downstair) i can go to the mailbox which is about 300' + above 1 floor. It will let you know when the line is in use (on the headset's LCD). It has Speaker phone (Monitor only) on the Base that u can monitor it but they wont hear you ,but if u want to use like a regular speaker phone you can put the headset near where you talk and you can listen thru the base and talk thru the headset. But Its LCD isn't Dotmatrix unlike the picture on the box and on the web. Its LCD is a regular LCD display similar as old regular calculator. Pros : Pretty good range Answering Machine Sound's very clear Base is very nice and small able to control everything thru the headset Display Clear and bright Easy to program Small and modern style looks like Siemens Cell phone Speaker phone (monitor) on the base Able to page to Headset from the Base Able to use the headphone (Optional) Cons : Regular 1 line + 2 icons line LCD (not a Dotmatrix LCD) Keypad have no light
Rating: Summary: Thumbs up for the Siemens 4015 & 4000 Review: This phone system is very easy to use after it is programed. It took me awhile to program but after this 74 year old head of mine got into gear it went smooth. My wife loves the simple way that she can call her friends. She presses a number key and then talk and the phone does the rest. We cannot believe how fast the calls go thru. I give the 4015 a thumbs up.
Rating: Summary: I love this phone! Review: I have found this phone easy to use and easy to program. Its one of the best cordless phones I've ever had. Previous ones always gave me reception problems, but I haven't had a single one with this phone!
