Rating: Summary: Correction to user review Review: The review prior to this indicates that the belt clip can not be removed. That is not correct. It is hard to get off but it does clip off. The reason it's on there is so that it raises the phone off the surface so you can hear the speaker. (handset speakerphone) Everything else in the review is right on. GREAT PHONE!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Great Features, Awful Sound Review: This contemporary looking phone has great features, just like a cell phone, i.e. choose your favorite numbers from a phone book directory (just like the Nokia Cell Phones); backlit display and buttons (cool looking orange); speakerphone on the handset; distinguished ring for numbers you saved in the phonebook...BUT: The sound quality is worse than my 10 Dollar phone I bought at the discount store. Same bad sound for the answering machine: I can't understand about 50% of the messages. Don't be fooled by the modern looks.
Rating: Summary: Love This Phone!! Review: This phone is the best I have had in many years. I Love all the features and the looks are Terrific!! The sound quality is ok---not bad but I am sure there is better (thus the 4 rating). Once I was told how nickel cadmium batteries work, I was tickled pink even more. Many complain about this phone's battery life, BUT, you Must let the phone off the base charger until it has drained down to the one bar before recharging it. NC batteries have a type of memory and everytime you hang it up after a few minutes of talking it thinks it needs to recharge because it is drained at that time usage frame, when it actually has many many hours of time left in the battery life. (This came from a Radio Shack man) SO---charge it full at new and then when you use it, let it lay off the cradle until it is almost drained and then recharge each time. It is a GREAT phone, in my humble opinion!
Rating: Summary: Motorola Does it Again Review: To be honest I wasn't really thinking I was going to be wowed by this phone but once I got it home and started to digest the manual I was impressed. A number of features really sets this phone a part from the usual suspects one being the choice to display phone memory names in the order you choose. It does give you an option to alphabetize but you can also say no and keep your numbers in the order you like. It has distinctive ringing, in other words you can choose for the phone to ring with one tune if you know the person and their in your phone book, and to ring with another tune if its someone you don't know. It has caller ID on both the handset and the base, great feature, also speaker phone is also included in the handset.
Rating: Summary: Broke in 32 days! Review: When I got this phone, I loved it. It has different rings, intercom, hands free, etc... I replaced all the phones in my house with the expandable phones that you can purchase. I spent alot of money doing this. After a little over a month, the "on" button on the phone stopped working. I tried returning it to the store, it was over a month since I had purchased it, so they told me to go to Motorola. Motorola told me to send in the whole phone, charger and all in to Motorola. Shipping paid by me. Now the other phones in my house are useless until I get the replacement in from the company. I hope this helps! Good luck!
