Rating: Summary: Where can you find a good phone? Review: I researched ratings on so many phones. I went with this one because of the reviews that I read. I had problems with my previous phone with the volume not being high enough. I don't have that problem usually with this one. Somehow the volume setting does change sometimes. That wouldn't be so bad, but there are other problems. You cannot pick up the other handset without transfering it. My old phone would have the first ring from the base be earlier than the handset. That way you could tell where the handset was. This does not. There are the many little things that are irritating. The big problems are that it cuts out and make terrible noises when the microwave oven is turned on and it also seems to cause problems with our wireless network for the laptop computer. Overall a pain.
Rating: Summary: Great reception! Review: I searched all over to find a phone that I could use in my kitchen without interference. I finally found it in this one. I can use it with the microwave running and don't get the buzzing sound I have with all my other cordless phones. The added bonus of caller ID and digital answering makes this a worthwhile purchase.
Rating: Summary: Sound quality problems Review: I seem to be the only one with this problem but I had to return my phone due to poor sound quality. Handset #1 echoed badly on my end and the people I talked to told me that I sounded far away or muffled. Handset #2 was better but there was still some echoing on my end. I liked all the features of the phone and was very disappointed that the sound was a problem.
Rating: Summary: A talkers haven Review: I talk a lot, and I prefer cordless phones. I purchased this particular model because it offered 2 phones, with 2 seperated bases at a reasonable price, and I am still completely satisfied with my decision! If the phone rings for someone else all you have to do is transfer the call, no more yelling or walking the phone to them, this phone adds a lot of convenience to your day! I love them!
Rating: Summary: At last, A Return to Sanity Review: I was sick and tired of having an answering service that I had to call up. Sick and tired of telemarketers. Sick and tired of having to be tied to a wall. This phone has an answering machine built in--a very handy feature for those numbers that have their 'number blocked' so that you can't tell who they are on caller ID. You can't forget to check your messages--it nags you tirelessly. The phone itself is lightweight and affordable. I'm so happy with it!
Rating: Summary: Great for the money Review: I would say you cannot beat this phone/2nd phone/answering machine for the money... and if you have ever owned a Uniden phone you know they last and last... One of the reviewers here said he could not take his phone near his Microwave because it would make the phone crackle... I SUGGEST YOU GET A NEW MICROWAVE THAT ISN'T THROWING OUT RADIATION SIR...!
Rating: Summary: Great Buy!!! Review: I've been using this phone for about 2 yrs. now and I love it. The sound quality, battery life and range is excellent. I highly reccomend.

Rating: Summary: Correction of a previous review Review: In mp3ed's review, he stated that: "While the phone is ringing on the base set, if you pick it up, it will not automatically answer. You must also hit the talk button." This is incorrect. This phone has an "AutoTalk" feature to answer a call once the phone is picked up from the base. Apparently mp3ed didn't read the manual.
Rating: Summary: Very cool with great sound quality Review: Just got this phone a few weeks ago and it is a great phone. The 2 handsets are great, especially since the second one doesn't even have to be plugged into a phone jack! The caller id and all of the other functions are great. I would definitely recommend this phone!
