Summary: Great Features - So So reception
Review: The only thing about this phone that hasn't blown me away is the reception. There is a faint hum at all times on the line. Nothing horrible but if you are super picky, it will drive you nuts.

Other than that, this phone ROCKS! Easy to set up and use and the feature set is second to none. For the price, this is by far the best phone value on the market!!

Pros
1. The ability to listen to voice messages from the hand sets.
2. The ability to copy your phone book to the other handset one number at a time or you can copy the entire phone book!! NICE!!
3. Good looking.
4. Easy to set up and use.
5. Phone has a comfortable feel in your hand.
6. It's light but doesn't feel cheep.
7. Room monitoring and DirectLink features are very cool. Room monitor is pretty self explanatory and DirectLink allows you to use the phones like walkie talkies.
8. I've had no problems with this phone interfering with my wireless lan (your mileage may vary)

Cons.
1. Each hand set's caller ID list must be cleared independently (WHY can't someone produce a phone where clearing the caller ID list on one phone clears it on the other!?!)
2. Reception isn't 100% clear

If I had known everything I know now about this phone when I placed the order, I would have still purchased it. So far, it's fantastic!!

Summary: Other nice features not mentioned elsewhere
Review: There are some other nice features that are not mentioned elsewhere:

You can easily add a caller-ID entry into the phone book. This makes it easy to populate your phone-book over time as friends call.

You can retrieve messages and perform other answering machine functions from the handsets.

The handsets do not start ringing until the second ring of the call. This helps me a lot because I have a computer that hnags up on telelmarketers but can only do so after the caller-ID string shows up. It only appears during the first ring. With this system, I don't even have to hear a ring for rejected calls.

The baby monitor function is clear as a bell. Every baby monitor I have owned is full of static pops and cracks.

Summary: Wow!
Review: This is a great value! No static or humming noises on mine. The phone is sturdy, cool, and dependable. I actually ordered Caller ID service just because of this phone. Ring tones are a very nice touch. Only negative thing is I can't find a 3rd handset on the market anywhere. Uniden has a waiting list about 200 people deep for notification of availability. I wanted one for each of the three floors in our home. Great product and value.

Summary: Great LITTLE phone !!!!!!!!!
Review: This is my second Uniden Phone that I REALLY LOVE. It is only 5" x 2", which makes it easy to dial with one hand. It has great clarity, with or without head phones.

It was very easy to program. This phone holds 100 phone numbers and you can enter them in one phone and copy it to the other one. That is a great feature!

You can get your messages even when you are away form home. This phone also has a speaker box on it, so you can put either phone on speaker an set it down and everyone in the room can hear and talk to the person on the other end.

The speaker phone on the base also works great. When family or friends call from out of town, my husband and I both visit with them and with great clarity!

I love the orange color of the backlighting, it makes it very easy to read. It is also easy to see when you have messages waiting for you from the base. When you want to hear your messages from one of the handsets, you push the select button and your messages will play out loud through the speaker box on the back of the handset. It is a nice feature, not having to go to the base to hear your messages.

They quit making the model that I was looking for and I did alot of research before I bought this. I am very happy with this little phone that is packed with nothing but great features! If you are looking for a expandable, small phone with great reception, then you will not be disappointed with this one!

Summary: Uniden is the best
Review: This is the 1st review I have ever written for Amazon. I have been moved to comment because this is the best phone I have ever owned. The options are incredible. The range is the best of any phone I have owned - it has twice the range of my Panasonic. I really like the options of setting a diffenrent song or ring sound for incoming calls. Like I know a relative is calling when I hear the song "Home Sweet Home". You can transfer your phonebook listing or just one new number to any handset in the house. Bright orange lights on keypad & bright LCD screen. The headset I already had works on this phone with perfect sound/clarity. You should be aware that this phone is small, like a normal cell phone(not the real small ones they have now)It's Tracfone size, so the keypad buttons might be too small & close together for someone with large fingers. I bought 2 extra handsets so my kids have their own phones that they can customize with different ring/song/tone options. Answering machine great too. I hope Uniden never goes out of business! Great product! Highly recomended!

Summary: Great Phone
Review: This phone has been great so far, with really cool features like, separate ring tones for different callers and bright orange colored lcd. The key pad is a tad bit small for people with large fingers, but thats what makes this a real small and sleek phone.
This is my first uniden and hope it does not disappoint in the long run.
Cool features:
Room monitor
Different ring tones
Battery life
Easy to use setup and phone book
Walkie Talkie
Not so cool:
Inconsistent sound quality on the Handset speakerphone

Summary: So many great features to list
Review: This phone has everything we need and more. Some of the best points about the phone are:
- built-in speakerphone on each handset
- room monitoring (saves on purchasing baby monitors)
- distinctive ring tones
- you can name each phone on the display (one for every member of the house)
- lightweight with belt clip included for each handset
- price versus similar expandable phone systems
We have only had the phones a week or two, so I am sure we will learn about many of the other great features. The phones sound great, look great, and work great for our family. We highly recommend these for other families. I will agree with some of the other feedbacks and say if you don't like phones with small buttons, you will not like this phone; however, the button size is fine for our family.

Summary: Uniden Customer Service is Awful!!
Review: This phone has many useful features and looks cool. However, the problems; It buzzes when I get close to my PC monitor and has a slight echo. I called customer service and they said, "do not use the phone near electrical appliances" (me in shock); "I can't use this while using a PC?" (CS) very rudely; "we advise you not to use near electrical appliances". Also, prior to the purchase of the phone I asked about the privacy feature and was told, "this phone does not allow additional handsets to connect while another handset is in use" and I asked, "how is this feature activated" CS; "This is feature is always activated you can never use two handsets at the same time". So, I thought this is perfect and purchased the phone. Turns out this feature is not always on and has to be activated after the handset is in use. So, when you receive an important call you ask your caller to wait for a minute fumble with a series of keys and the menu so your kids or others won't interrupt your call on another handset in another room. I called customer service again to complain and they said that's impossible and were in disbelief for literally 5 minutes even with my wife and I in separate rooms talking to them at the same time on separate handsets. I could not convince her that I was able to use two handsets simultaneously. Then after five minutes on hold they told me very rudely because I am obviously wasting their precious time (thirty minutes at this point) "This feature can only be activated while the handset is in use" I still like the phone but, customer service is extremely rude, don't listen carefully, quick to blame the customer, and lie.

Summary: Didn't need this phone system but it's one cool gadget
Review: This Uniden is my 16th cordless phone in the last 15 years. For most features it shines over all my older phones and has many more features. Like my 900mhz Sony these phones allow transfer of caller-ID numbers to phone book. The part I dislike is that numbers outside the local area do not have the 1 so the number has to be deleted and retyped with the 1. The Sony allows the 1 to be easily added. Other than that I am completely happy with this phone. It's clear and has a great range and the three phones work together well. The phone and answering machine are easier to setup than any other system I have had, so easy I didn't need the directions.
