Description:
A cordless phone from Sony, the SPP-SS951 is a basic model without a lot of bells and whistles. It is easy to set up and can be mounted on a wall for added convenience. A 10-number speed dial provides a quick and convenient way to call your most important parties, and a new-message-waiting indicator alerts you when you have a voicemail. The SPP-SS951 transmits on the 900 MHz frequency and utilizes direct-sequence spread spectrum technology. Handset and ringer controls let you adjust volume levels to your liking, while a low-battery indicator lets you know when to return the handset to the base to recharge. Selectable tone and pulse dialing modes are available via a switch on the phone, and the flash button allows you access to call waiting (requires a subscription to a fee-based service). A redial button lets you quickly call the last outgoing number, while a mute button allows you to hear the other party while muting your end of the conversation. A page/handset locator lets you find a misplaced handset, and headset compatibility provides a method of hands-free communication. The SPP-SS951 is also hearing aid compatible and comes with a one-year limited warranty.
