Rating: Summary: Elementary Test Review: This is great phone till you are on a receiving end speaking to someone who is using it. The sound is very poor. As other people noticed it sounds as if you are in a cave. Often people using the phone are nor aware of it. I think it is an essential element of a phone to transmit a decent sound. This phone fails this elementary test.
Rating: Summary: 2.4 ghz quality at a 900mhz price Review: This phone is comparable if not better than most 2.4 ghz phones out there. Most of this can be attributed to the Digital Spread Spectrum which really improves the distance that this phone can operate at and also provide maximum quality. I use this im my dorm room where there are about 100 other phones on the same floor and I can go from outside from the third floor and even into another building and get near perfect reception. I also compared the quality and distance with one of the Panasonic 2.4 ghz phones and this phone outperformed the 2.4 by about 10 feet. The three line display allows you to see the number that you are dialing and also make programming numbers with names a breeze. The screen and the keypad is backlit so you can use it day or night. This is a great phone at a great price.
Rating: Summary: Panasonic KXTC1851 Phone Review: Very clear sound and no static!! Feels more like a Cell Phone then a Cordless phone of old. Simple to use and I am happy with the purchase of it! Good value for the Money!!
Rating: Summary: No static! Review: When I searched for a cordless phone on Amazon, the only thing I wanted to see in a review was "no interference or static". This phone delivers. I live in a Metropolitian area and my apartment is full of computers and other electronic equipment. This is my third cordless and I am impressed. The caller ID is cool and so is the memory dial.
