Rating: Summary: It is a ok phone. Review: (...) It is a great phone, I like it because it is so small, light and gets good reception. There are a few down-sides though. If you are calling someone sometimes you get the "channel searching" annoyance, if you drop it it does it also. The headset may not work well for many people ( my mother and brother ) but myself and father like it. One last bad thing is that sometimes you will get this horrific noise like someone is dragging there fingers down a chalk board (quiver). I think the reason it does that though is because you are touching the metal charing thing a mobobers. But the phone does get great reception ( you don't need the atenna ) it is light and great if you have to cook dinner or be on the computer while using the phone. I love the LCD because it lights up, and tells you the number you are dialing, my (dollar amount) sony doesn't do that. Now there is no recorder so if you miss a call you have to look at CID. But it does have a voice mail function ( I have yet to use it ) which tells you when you missed a call ( you have to have voice mail ). (...) Good phone I would buy it all over again!
Rating: Summary: standard V-tech problem Review: a cute very compact phone; sacrifice of direct buttons like redial is worth it. headset excellent: a great feature. clarity is quite good, given that it is not dss. back-up battery is a terrific feature, especially in rural areas where power outages are common. one big problem as with other V-tech phones I have had: channel search operations can interrupt conversation periodically or even lose a caller at the beginning while you are unable to answer. Despite other reviews, mine had a belt clip, but I dropped it anyway. Will not replace it because of the way channel-search works on this phone.
Rating: Summary: Loved this little wonder! Review: Hi, I am a pretty picky person when it comes to gadgets and electronic devices that should improve my way of life. When picking this phone out of the multitude of other offerings from VTech and competitors, I was enchanted. The built-in features are great. They make me forget that I have one of the SMALLEST 900mhz phones in my hand. Unlike some people, I've had no problems whatsoever with the headset, it works just fine. I do agree with another reviewer though: The menu-surfing for speed dial, caller ID lookup, and redial are annoying. But then again, there are 5 redial spots, 50 caller ID spots and 20 speed dial spots all in this small unit... The truth is I Love it and I definitely recommend it because of its quality, clarity and heritage. Its built by VTech. They basically "reinvented the telephone" when they introduced the first 900mhz phone and they are still the best!
Rating: Summary: Okay, but Review: I bought The Sharper Image version of this V-Tech phone, in gold. GOOD: The lighted display is a plus, as is the size. I can only use 900 mhz DIGITAL phones in my apartment -- regular 900 mhz phones don't work well; ditto for 900 mhz DSS phones. :-( I keep the phone base about a foot from my laptop, and have no problem with static or humming. :-) I also can't tell I'm on a cordless phone; neither can the callers. Price was excellent... Even less here at Amazon. ;-) BAD: The supplied headset is lousy -- I hear feedback of my own voice -- probably 'cause I have the volume all the way up -- 'cause I can't hear the caller. Wish the volume could be made even louder! (FYI, I use a Radio Shack over-the-ear headset.) I bought this phone for the headset feature, btw. (I don't use my cell phone without a headset either -- too small and uncomfortable to hold in my hand.) I wish this phone had a dedicated redial button and a 1-touch memory button. I also wish the display allowed for more characters -- at least 15; I find it annoying that long distance numbers appear on 2 lines; ditto for names. Actually, the display should have THREE lines: date/time, name and number. VERDICT: 3 out of 5 stars, because V-Tech sacrificed important features for size.
Rating: Summary: Wheres the clip? Review: I bought this phone because i feel v-tech makes good phones. First off, how can you make a cordless phone with a headset and have no clip on back of it? Secondly, the plastic earpeice causes major discomfort. Basically i used a cushion on top of my ear and i wore a shirt with a pocket to put the phone in. Do those 2 things and you have a pretty good phone.
Rating: Summary: Small and cute doesn't win here Review: I bought this phone especially for its size, headset, being digital, plus nice features on top of it. Initially I had to return it, being unable to plug the headset. Got another one, same problem, but then I pushed very hard and finally get it plugged. The headset jack is not defective as many reviews noted it, but is badly built (hole too small). Sound: Quality is good, better at reception than transmission though. The last level of volume gives feedback, so you're stock with the one before, which is the bear minimum to hear conversations correctly. With the headset, reception is ok but again transmission is a little harder, too much noise transmitted. Range: I never tried to speak beyond 40 feet. But inside that range, never had a problem. Battery: Doesn't last too long, even if I speak once or twice a day with it, I have to recharge at least at every 5 days. Disappointing for a NiMH battery... Features: Difficult to reach (redial, memory), but I don't use them often. The LCD display is small, but hey, that's the price for its compact size. For me the biggest flaw is the sensitivity of the phone, which makes it cut the conversation for 2-3 seconds sometimes because it searches for alternative channels. It does that as soon as you manipulate the phone without precaution, like pressing it harder or just dropping it on a table. And it's even worse when the battery is low or close to be. So I always try to keep the phone well recharged. I use that phone since two years now. I can't tell I'm very satisfied. My next phone will definitively not be this one!
Rating: Summary: It is a ok phone. Review: I bought this primarily for it's small size and headset capabilities. It also fits more securely in the base then many forward facing phones. I tossed the included headset and bought a nicer one and it works great. Volume and clarity are good although there seem to be occasional dropouts. The backlighting is also nice. On the con side, the screen is a little small and the menus hard to navigate. My main gripe is that access to the caller id list should have been more convienient.

Rating: Summary: Attractive package that backs it up with performance. Review: I have owned this phone for two weeks now and could not be more satisfied. The clarity is the best I have had in a cordless. For the size (it is smaller than my Motorola cell phone) I expected it to be difficult to handle comfortably. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the buttons are laid out and how easy all the features are to use. As with all Vtech products I own, setup was a snap. Great phone.
Rating: Summary: So far So Good Review: I purchased this phone and have been very happy so far. The quality is great and I have had no problems.
