Rating: Summary: Great for Home Office Conf. Calls Review: This is a truly superior phone product - lot of attention must have gone into the design, and certainly went into quality of construction. I work at home 2-3 days a week and am often on long-duration conference calls where I need to refer to on-line documents. Prior to having this phone I had a constant pain in my neck from cradling the phone to my head. I tried speakerphones, but affordable speakerphones today have such terrible quality I was always disappointed. This phone has great quality of sound, and it plays into both ears, so you tend to pick up on people who don't come across well on a traditional speaker phone or handset. You can turn the volume up very high and still not have feedback through the boom mike. This frees up your hands and eyes to work at you computer, search for documents, etc. without missing any of the call. Finally, the headset has been designed to wrap around your head snugly but spreads out the pressure across two wide areas so that it never starts to hurt even on a long call. I have worn this on some days for 2-3 hours straight, and it never became uncomfortable. It's only slightly more expensive than any other phone in its class, but is vastly superior. I can't recommend this phone enough.
Rating: Summary: Makes A Busy Mom's Life Easier Review: This phone is wonderful. Trully amazing. I love it. I'm trying to find my sister one too. We both have small toddlers and need our hands FREE no matter what. Before this phone there were times when I've had to quickly drop the phone to rescue something from my daughter's grasp. Now I can keep talking and keep up with her. Its an added bonus that she likes to listen on it too! I have never hard trouble hearing people over the phone, or have had them complain about not hearing me. I find the headset comfortable to wear to a very long time, and had no trouble adjusting to the dual earphones (which I think is even more wonderful). Others complain about the battery not last very long, but I've not had that problem. It lasts longer then my cell phone, and the other two portable phones we have. I've left it off the charger two nights in a row and still had power left for a 20 minute call - it then started beeping. Its hands down better then any other headset phone I have tried both at work (dreaded telemarketer LOL for a few months) and at home (everything was quickly given away cuz I hated them). This phone is great. I like that it has a handset as well as the headset too. So even if I do run the batteries down there is still a phone I can use unlikes most portable phones. My only problem with this phone is that my daughter tends to hide the dialer from me. Other then that I love it! Love it love it love it
Rating: Summary: Great Phone! Review: This phone made me giggle with shear joy. For a consumer elctronics product that I bought used for $40, that's saying a lot. I've never before found a wireless phone that doesn't sound terrible in my apartment, but the Vtech is superb. The voice quality is excellent-- the other party can't tell you're using a wireless phone, much less a headset. Other phones that cost twice as much seem to sound 1/2 as good in my high interference city apartment. The headset is very comfortable and easy to use. You'll look like a phone operator, but being able to walk around the apartment, type at the computer, or do the dishes while on the phone make it well worth the style sacrafice. If you're tired of "phone ear" and want one less wire in your life, I'd highly reccomend this phone.
Rating: Summary: You'll wonder how you ever lived without it! Review: Without a doubt my most useful purchase of 2000. First off, the designers of this phone did a VERY good job. Besides the ability to expand for larger heads, the ear speakers are in perfect range of your year and you can talk normally into the microphone, there is no need to speak loud or directly into the microphone, this baby has great pick-up on voice. The beauty of this phone is the fact not only does it have a small "remote" for dialing, volume, redial, flash, etc. but there is also a base handset which accompanies this headset so you can use it as a regular corded phone. I work out of the home a few days a week doing computer work. Used have to deal with the annoying neck aches from tilting my head to hold the phone while I was typing, not any more. The range on this phone is also great, the base is upstairs but I can use the headset in the kitchen, in the basement, even out in the garden. If you are looking for a truly convienient cordless phone, this is the "better option". One more thing, have had this for seven months and have had NO problems.
