Summary: Well, I don't know what all the fuss is about
Review: 'cause, I've had excellent service with this telephone. I purchased the unit over three years ago at Sears for $99. The voice is clear, the messages are clear, the range is good, callers hear me the instanst I answer the phone, and it has been very durable. I have a (now) 4 year old, so this phone has been dropped NUMEROUS times on hardwood floors, and has even fallen off the base a couple of times, which is 5 feet off the floor. (And yes, my wife and I have dropped it a few times, as well)With all that abuse, it is beginning to show problems after 3 years. Thinking seriously about keeping the answering system (base), retiring the handset, and buying a new cordless without an answering syetm. This unit has been discontinued. You see it is listed for half of retail.Maybe I was lucky, maybe I wasn't, but I must say this phone has been a very good one.

Review: Cool features....know who is calling withoug trying to find the phone to look at the callerid, but the phone is terrible. Reception is non-existant. I think they built it with components left over from the first generation of cordless phones.

Summary: Stink-o-rama
Review: Don't buy this phone. Yes, it has lots of really cool features - you can program it to recognize who is calling and play a pre-recorded (by you) message telling you who is calling - but after using it for about 6 months, the handset is barely working. Doesn't help much to have a cordless when you have to hit the speaker button on the base to answer your calls.

Summary: Good and Bad
Review: Here's the scoop on this phone: It's insanely nifty with features but not very durable. The talking caller ID is a great help for anyone who likes to know who is calling. Up to 10 of your buddies can be stored in there, and you don't have to get up to check who is calling. It announces them individually, nice and loud. The answering machine has 2 mail boxes, and options for having different messages for them. Also useful. Overall, there are lots of bells and whistles on this bugger that make it very cool. On the downside, it is one fragile little phone. Don't bother with the wall mount, it's slippery and as one drop on the floor will result in some rather nasty damage, unwise. Their tech support is rather rude in helping you put humpty dumpty back together again. Mine lasted only one year and now I am back having to find a new phone. What happened? I have no clue, but eventually the earpiece on the handset died, so you can't hear anything on the phone. The speakerphone was never very strong. There is a lot of static no matter what channel you are on. Sometimes the different voice options exchange themselves. (telling you frank is calling when bob is on the phone or telling you that you have 5 new messages when a ID blocked caller is calling) I enjoyed it a great deal for the year I Had it. However, I would like for my next phone to last longer.

Summary: A real disappointment!
Review: I always purchase AT&T/Lucent phone products because they are durable and longlasting. But this particular phone had one problem after another. I agree with Portland entirely. Quite a disapointment! I ended up with a terrific Vtech model, less expensive, same features, more versatility and NO PROBLEMS!

Summary: Watch out! I had bad experiences.
Review: I bought a 9350. I've gone through TWO warranty exchanges after problems, and even the third phone is now malfunctioning. The first two allowed callers to record messages -- and then every so often retained nothing. A couple friends asked why I never responded to their messages. Those are the ones who thought to ask -- who knows who else is out there thinking I didn't return their call. 3 phones, 3 sets of problems. 3 strikes. ATT is out.

Summary: Coolest Phone I've ever owned
Review: I bought this phone a few months ago at Sears(for about 20 bucks more). The trick feature it has is that it allows you to record 10 mini voice announcement tags to ID a specific caller. Example: When my friend Rob calls, I hear my voice announce "Rob's calling" after the first ring. I have not found this feature on any other phone even today. For those 10 callers, I don't even have to check the call id display because I hear the machine announce them. Again, pretty cool.

Summary: Very disapointed
Review: I bought this phone because I own an AT&T and was so happy with the sound quality. It has so many features. The recording device is so clear and it was easy to set and program. I was very happy with it up until I made a call. There is a constant and distracting buzzing as well as static. I bought this phone yesterday and will return it today. If you don't mind the static and want an inexpensive phone everything else works well.I ave tried several phone/ans machine combos and have come to the conclusion that you have to spend at least $90.00 to get good quality on all of the parts.

Review: I bought this phone, along with an AT&T Model 9341 (same as this one but no answering machine) about 1-1/2 years ago. It was complicated to set up, time consuming to edit (God forbid the power went out--resetting the clock was a real pain) and after about six months the reception became poor---unless you stood perfectly still, there was so much static you could hardly hear. On top of that, the microphone would go dead---you could hear the caller but they could not hear you. If I tried to take it upstairs to use, it would not let me dial out--it couldn't seem to make a connection with the base. I finally took it and threw it in the trash, and the companion one I bought will not be far behind. As soon as I find a decent phone to buy to replace it, it's history and I will NEVER buy another AT&T product.
