Rating: Summary: Great product for the money Review: I bought the HTR 5630 even though I could find no other detailed user review on the net. I assumed that the 5400 and 5500 series were getting good reivews and there were NO bad comments abou the 5600 series I might as well give it a try. This is my first AV reciever and they are paired with Yamaha NS-555 fronts, RCA Pro LS-200 center, generic bookshelfs and a multimedia YST-MS28 subwoofer. The last two coz i ran out of money. But will upgrade both in a couple of months. The manual is a bit cryptic but the reciever is solid in build and performance. The DSP programs are wonderful, I use it for regular TV watching (you will need to adjust your center volume to make it viable for regular sit com and news watching). Since its 70W RMS per channel and since I have a medium sized room it a perfect match with the front hardly straining to deliver expection sound. Still need to figure out how to tune the FM radio (the manual is very cryptic about some stuff). But i am sure i will figure it out. Great product, Great price, mediocre manaul. You might have to 'shop around' for the best price and you will be surprised how cheap you can get it.
