Rating: Summary: The perfect headset! Review: I don't know about you, but I can't stand all those headsets that have small boom microphones or just earbuds. They either fall off or produce terrible sound. But this headset is the perfect option. The band goes behind your neck, so no one can really see it. But it keeps the headset perfectly in place. Then the boom comes all the way out in front so the sound is perfect. I love these and don't know why they are the most popular type of headset. They should be.
Rating: Summary: Very good value in a headset Review: I purchased this headset for use with ham radio transceivers via an adapter box with a PTT button and mic gain adjustment that I homebrewed. This item works great and is much more rugged than similarly priced phone headsets. Although the mic boom is a tad shorter than I would have liked, it is long enough to work well. It is very similar to headsets sold for 2-way radio communications that cost twice as much. I highly recommend it.
Rating: Summary: Not very comfortable Review: I purchased this with high expectations based on the reviews below, however, I'd have to say I'm disappointed with the product. While the wrap-around band kept the headset in one position (much better than an ear bud), I had to take it off after 15 minutes because it was hurting the outside of my ear.
For me, there are four main deficiencies in the design.
1. The "padding" of the plastic on the earpiece is thin, rigid, high-density foam, perhaps only 1/8" thick. It really doesn't pad much at all. I'm looking into modifying it with an old headphone ear pad.
2. The band itself is pretty rigid, not allowing for adjustment. In fact, there are no available adjustments - if you have a small noggin, the band will extend back behind your head a bit, and if you have a large melon, the band will be tight against the back of your head. I have a 7-1/4 hat size (pretty average) and it almost touched the back of my head.
3. There is no volume control on the cord, and the maximum volume is a bit weak.
4. The earpiece is only available for the left ear - it cannot be used on the right ear.
On the plus side, it does seem very durable, and the boom microphone is just the right length and size. As I mentioned, I may try modifying it, but on freeways the road noise is too strong to overcome the weak volume.
Rating: Summary: can't imagine driving without it! Review: I use this headset regularly while I drive, it sounds clear and keep me from having an accident! I even take it on my trips (flight attendant for Delta Airlines) and use it during my layovers. I also use JTH940 at home with my cordless phone, can't imagine my life without them.
Rating: Summary: do not buy this brand Review: Sent item back to the company and got a rejected mail saying, "COMPANY OUT OF BUSINESS, RETURN TO SENDER". The company address on the label is:

Rating: Summary: Just bought my third one of these Review: This headset is comfortable and works well though it just doesn't last long. It's the only headset that works with my home phone so I keep buying them but they only last about six months.
Rating: Summary: Great product Review: This product is a nice headset that did fit nicely on my ear (lucky fit I guess) and was easy to work with. It is compact and feels quite natural for me. Not to mention it is designed to work on either ear so in the middle of a conversation you can just change ears.
