Summary: Dont waste your money
Review: I bought this headset and was very pleased with the sound quality and the mic quality, but it breaks very easily and very often. My second pair of these headphones has just broken, having the sound cutting in and out and not being able to hear certain tones.

Most of the good reviews for this headset are from people who havent had the headset for very long. If you want a reliable headset, take my advice and look elsewhere.

Summary: Not Impressed
Review: I bought this headset mainly because of its high reviews and I've owned a plantonics headset before and was impressed by them. I'm pretty disappointed by the sound quality of this set. I recently bought the Aiwa hp-J30 behind the head headphones to go with my port-CD player, and the sound quality spanks the Audio 90's. I assumed the quality of an over-the-ear set would have been the one to sound better. Especially when Audio 90's cost twice as much. I will say that the mic picks up sound well for this price range. The set is comfortable. The bass is very good, but it's mainly the highs & the clearity that's missing. I would have given three stars, but for what I paid, I can't complain that much.

Summary: Not worth it!
Review: I had these for almost 6 months great bass and mic was very clear. Then yesterday I droped it 3 foot fall and I noticed the sound went out I managed too hold it in place but with my finger, I tryed too hold it again noting. $21 but thats my money wasted I expected better, I will probably buy some nice panasonics or some Pioneer headset this time around.

Summary: too quiet
Review: i had these headphones for almsot two weeks now. the right side is already broken. the headset didn't experience any physical abuse, the right side just stopped working. even if its working, its too damn quiet. when listening to music, i would prefer it be a bit louder.

Summary: Good for Gaming
Review: I have had this headset for almost a year and am quite pleased with it. I use it for gaming and receive consistent reports of excellent voice audio. The headphones are comfortable and have good sound. I wouldn't use it for listening to music, but it is great for gaming, telephony, and voice recognition.

Summary: Very Good, But...
Review: I have now owned 2 sets of these. I LOVE the sound I get from them. I love the way they feel. I tend to use them for music, gaming and voice chat for extended periods of time and basically forget I have them on. That is unusual for me! Normally a set will get uncomfortable or need to be adjusted as the night wears on. I get excellent sound with both the mic and the speakers. BUT... they tend to break after approximately 6 months. Out of nowhere, for no apparent reason... pfffft... one of the earpieces will simply stop functioning. I thought it was a fluke the first go around, but when the 2nd set did it, well...

Altho I hate having to replace my headset every 6 months, at the low cost and the excellent sound quality (while they are working), I will probably go ahead and get the 3rd pair.

Summary: For the money, I give it 5 stars.
Review: I play Counter-Strike. Several teammates use this headset. Their voice is much clear and louder than other guys. So more and more guys are moving to this headset. Finally I also jump to it. If you are a music lover, you will find many headphones, namely those from Sennheiser or Grado, will be much better if you can spend $100 on a phone. But if you are a gamer and need to talk to others, or you need a headset for internet chat, this one has the best price/performance ratio. For [this price], I would give it 6 stars.

Summary: Good buy
Review: I use this mic/headphone set mainly for gaming. What can I say about it? The quality of the mic is just superb, the design is extremely comfortable... I can wear it all day! I only had 2 problems with owning this headset. First off was the foam tip. I guess it was cheaply done because mine got misshapen from taking somewhat poor care of it and doesnt stay on very well any more. Second the cord is liek REALLY long... Longer than you'll probably ever need... So you have to be careful about how yo position the cord or it'll wrap up around itself and stick that way. Overall this headset is just great, you just have to take good care of it.

Summary: Poorly Engineered
Review: I was a previous Plantronics customer, I had bought A nice set of USB DSP-500 from this site, They worked about year and half until the microphone cable got trapped inside the swivel for the mic boom and was shredded. An expensive headset that didnt last as long as I thought it should, but It was a great headset, and still is (except for the fact the mic does not work). So i decided to go with Plantronics again, and get the less expensive audio .90s. BIG MISTAKE. I thought 30 bucks for a year and a half would be ok, Which it would have, but the managed to last a whole THREE WEEKS. The mic ground cable came detatched or seperated (I suspect in the Flawed design of the earpiece/mic boom) and now emits a horrible hum in the background rendering me barely audible through it. Plantronics, wants proof of purchase and for me to send it back for them before I get a new headset. I dont want to go without my headset, because they cant design a decent consumer grade pair of headphones. I wouldnt waste my money with Plantronics, save your money and by some senheisser or go real cheap and buy a 10 dollar wal-mart pair. I am through with Plantronics.

Summary: Plusses and Minuses
Review: I was satisfied with the sound quality and microphone fidelity, but the headset wasn't very comfortable. People who wear glasses should beware that the headset will press your ears against your head, catching the temple piece of your glasses in between (This happens regardless of how large you adjust the headset).

I can wear the headset for about 20 minutes before the discomfort becomes too distracting.
