Summary: For the price, an AMAZING set of headphones!
Review: The package says "Deep Bass", and they are NOT kidding! The fqy response goes from 25hz (Very good!) to 15,000hz (top of human hearing range is 20,000hz. The headphones sound GREAT! The earphone (1 per side, of course) contains a 1 1/2" speaker (as I measured). The padding on each side is 5/8" thick, including covering. The covering is really hard to describe. It kinda feels like plastic. The covering over the speaker is a mix between foam and cloth. Overall, if you don't want to spend too much on headphones, get these!

Summary: Studio Headphones that make even online radio sound good...
Review: The second I received the Koss in the mail, I jacked into my 25 year old JVC receiver and pumped out Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" from a JVC 6-disk changer. NEVER before have I heard a headset that can outperform my speakers: the sound was so clear high, middle, and low that I could hear the conductor set down his batton and the players turn their sheet music. I tried to hear it through my shelf speakers and couldn't find it...

I just recently purchased the Sony MDR-G52LP Street Headphones, but these low end Koss cost $8 less and smacked the Sony sound we've come to know and love out of the room.

My favorite advantages with this product are the --low cost--long cord for studio use--crisp sound--comfort--light weight

Summary: It Is Very Good
Review: The sound on this Koss TD-61 Home Stereophone is great and the padding around the ears is excellant. I reccomend these headphones to anyone who feels that the sound quality on their headphones is less than satisfactory. I also reccomend them to people whos ears hurt after listening to music for long periods of time because the padding on these headphones is very comfortable.

Summary: quite possibly the best headphones in their price-range
Review: These headphones are quite possibly the best headphones in their price range. For a mear 20 dollars these headphones will amaze you. They are comfortable enough to wear hours upon hours on end, the sound is great (bass and trebble both), there is very little distortion ( but they do begin to cackle at high volumes with the bass cranked up), they do a good job at drowning out most outside noises (and yet they are not made for total isolation). The only problem I found with them was their ruggedness. I tend to take my music with me everywhere and they did a good job being crammed in a backpack 24-7 but after a few months they began to crack right above the speaker. The speaker eventually came off and all the super-glue in the world couldn't save 'em. ( but don't let this scare you off, Koss' lifetime warenty will cover this).

Summary: How can I say this?
Review: These headphones are the best headphones in the entire world! I'm a hearing impaired kid and these work great for me too. That should give you an idea of how good the quality is. Sure, you can buy the more expensive and "cooler" looking headphones for many, many more dollars, but you'll be missing the deal of your lifetime! I wish I could only do something about the 8 - foot cord that comes with it. Sometimes it gets a little tangled up... But don't let this discourage you! DO buy this headphones. DON'T buy the other headphones.

Summary: Only lasted 8 months
Review: These headphones were a Christmas gift for my husband in December 1999, and only 8 months later the right ear no longer works (no sound). They were good while they lasted -- at a very good price, but if you want something that lasts, consider spending more money. As for comfort, my husband thought the ear cutouts were not big enough and hurt after a while.

Summary: good sound and comfortable
Review: They are just like a ordinary pair of headphones but bigger. And they give you a smaller pocket pair. It's an ubeatable price for what you get so hurry and buy one.
