Rating: Summary: Good sound, but they make my ears sweaty... :) Review: Comfortable, good sound. Only problem is that after I've been wearing them for a little while, I have to take them off for a few seconds to let some air in. Otherwise, the lack of ventilation traps moisture.
Rating: Summary: Fine product Review: Enjoy the quality of sound and the 8 ft cord allows freedom of movement around my work station.
Rating: Summary: Good while it lasts... Review: Even though these headphones aren't aesthetically perfect and this model doesn't even exist anymore in most stores, I bought them on amazon because of the great reviews and the cheap price ($15.00).
They were very efficient during the first 8 months or so, but now, even though I have always been very careful with them, no more sound comes through to my ears. You would expect Koss would make better quality products. I am now seeking to get a new pair through the warranty.
Rating: Summary: These things are great Review: Ever since I bought these headphones I have not regretted it. The sound quality is great and for the price is unbeatable. It puts out a very balanced sound. The only thing that I have a problem with is that they tend to heat up a bit.
Rating: Summary: Poor choice for $20 cans Review: First, let me start my review with a recommendation: If you have only $20 to spend on headphones, your money would be better spent on a pair of Koss KSC-50s or KSC-55s. Now, onto the headphones themselves. The Koss TD-61s may sound good to the amateur ear, but to anyone who has heard something better, they will recognize them for the cruddy cans they are. First of all, the low-end response is awful. Bass is very muddy and indistinct. Bass-heavy songs will be completely drowned in bass. As a consequence of this, the mids and highs are often hard to distinguish. The moniker "Studio Quality," is extremely laughable, and really borders on false advertising. Now, if the poor sound quality was not enough, the headphones themselves are cheaply made. They're extremely bulky and awkward looking, and the cord is thin and easily opened to reveal the wires. Pass these up for something better.
Rating: Summary: Robert Jones Review: Good product for the price!Great sound and base characteristics.I find them comfortable to wear for extended periods-much more than my old Sony's.I do wish the cord was alittle more sturdy and thicker.<...>
Rating: Summary: Great Sound. Very Comfortable Review: Great Item, very comfortable to wear, by far the best pair of headphones I've owned, well worth the money.
Rating: Summary: So comfortable... Review: I am very happy with the sound and comfort, at an affordable price. I use these for my computer to watch DVD movies or play games without waking my husband.I wear them sometimes for hours when I watch a movie and forget that I have them on they are so comfortable. I also love the long cord. Very nice product.
Rating: Summary: Great product Review: I am very impressed with these headphones. For the price they work great. The sound quality is crisp and sharp and the bass is almost perfect. These are great not only for just music, I use them on my computer to play video games without disturbing the rest of the family. Also I have used them with my DVD player and they work great. As for comfort these also excel. I would highly recommend these for anyone on a budget that does not want to spend a small fortune to get some of the other headphones. At this price you can also afford to purchase them for your kids. This way when they decide to listen to music you don't necessary appreciate all day long, you can have some peace and quiet.
Rating: Summary: Not Bad Review: I bought these head phones for college so I wouldn't disturb my roomates. They are a great buy for the price, but they aren't what I consider "Studio Quality." Don't get me wrong, the sound is awesome. Far better then any of the other head phones I've had (but I've never been able to afford the high dollar ones). Worth the money if you aren't an extreme audiophile. Only complaint I have is after extended use, my ears start to get sweaty. The balance is great, not bass heavy at all - don't listen to that other guy. The bonus earbuds are a joke - worse I've EVER heard, but the Head phones rock :)
