Summary: Very Impressed
Review: These headphones are everything I could expect. They have come with 100% satisfaction.

I am a gamer first and foremost, and in games, these cans impress. Upgrading from a broken $30 dollar set from radioshack, these sennheisers are legions better than I can remember. Sounds are crisper, bass clearer, and highs aren't too bright. Directional sound is also a big plus. I am able to guesstimate where my opponents are and sometimes wall them in CS =).

For music, these guys blow me away. Tool is my band, and for one I can hear Danny Carrey in the background on the hi hat, and I am able to distinguish between the beats. Not until I had these headphones did I realize the complexity of some of the background music, as before I had only heard it as a sludge of noise (comparatively speaking).

For ~$60, I feel I have more than gotten my money's worth. Amazon got the shipment through to me very quickly, and even with Mega-ghetto shipping. Packging was great. 100% impressed.

Summary: Way overpriced
Review: This is my fifth PC headset. I bought it based on Sennheiser's rep and reviews. All of my other 4 ranging from cheapie $9.99 Radio Shack to $25 Labtec 302s sounded better than these. The high range is pathetic, the mid range very distorted and the over pumped bass is distorted too, and doesn't go low at all. These are way overrated and overpriced.

Summary: Really, really nice
Review: This is the "best" headset I've owned so far! Let me start with the sound quality--it's fantastic. I play FPS online and need to know the exact direction of sounds in the game. 5.1 speakers are great, but when it came to headsets, I was always at a disadvantage. The Sennheiser PC150's solved the problem. It's like having surround sound speakers on your head! The mic is very responsive during my sessions on Teamspeak, very crisp and clear according to my teammates.

The headset itself is super comfortable, but after a few hours of gaming, my ears do start to hurt--it's unavoidable. The earpieces are very spongy and covered in fabric, but a little on the small side. The mic is sturdy and swings up out of the way when not in use. There's also a nice foam pad on the inside of the headband for added comfort.

The price may be a little high, but the sound quality is the best. If you're a hardcore gamer--get the Sennheisers.

Summary: poor sound quality
Review: While these may be perfectly sufficient for gaming, I would have expected much better sound quality out of headphones at this price level. The bass is over emphasized, and the whole sound is in general fuzzy. When the volume control is at high levels there is also significant line hiss. Vocals lose clarity the most. If your only concern is base then these are probably sufficient for you, but I was disappointed.

The ear pieces are also very hot and exert a lot of pressure on the ears. They are uncomfortable to wear for extended periods.

Summary: Customer review
Review: Wow, these headphones are incredible. The bass and clarity is percise. Can use them to listen to music and games on your pc. I recommend these to anyone whose looking for great gaming or music headphones. Sennheiser has done it again, now with the PC. I have a creative live 5.1 sound card.
