Review: My Xbox Live headset broke and I picked this one up as a replacement and it works great. I just unplug it form my communicator and into my phone when i get a call its a pure joy to use. I was worried it would fall off like other over the ear headsets but it doesn't i can move around freely without being owrried at all.

Summary: Very good, but not the best.
Review: The earpiece feels a bit cumbersome and is a little tricky to fit to your ear. The sound quality is excellant for the people listening to me, but not quite as good for me. I can hear everything alright, but it's not the most comfortable headset I've owned. Good deal for the price, however.

Review: The earpiece is pretty comfortable and the sound is good. The microphone is what will have you and the other party thanking Plantronics. Ever talk to somebody who is using a cheap or small cellular phone? Annoying isn't it. The M145 warms things up, no more speaker phone sound quality.I always use the headset in the car. It's great on the home phone too. When they start putting headphone jacks on all the home phones everybody will have a headset. They are so comfortable and convenient, now I have two.(car/home) The only thing missing is an on cord/headset answer button.(might not be possible for a universal product) The volume control is nice but I rarely use it, would trade it in a heartbeat for an anwer button. Last thing, those headsets that have a mic that clips to your lapel are ok, maybe a little more discrete. Your voice won't sound as warm because the mic is farther away.

Summary: Try before you buy!
Review: The fit of this head phone is a little different than others that I have used. As you can see from the picture, it hangs over your ear. It does not fit very tightly against your ear. That lets the noise around me mingle with the earbud's sound so it is not very clear. The volume control you see in the photo can be used to increase the volume in the ear piece. The result for me was to make the sound louder but not more clear. The loose dangley fit never seemed comfortable to me.
The sound listeners hear coming from the microphone can be adjusted by sliding a micro switch to one of three levels. The highest level is not adequate for some phones and people I called had trouble hearing what I was saying. You need to try this headset with the phone you want to use it with. It will work well with some but not with others. You may want to consider the return policy of the seller and the shipping charges involved.

Summary: You get what you pay for...
Review: The M145 does deliver quality sound. However, the M145 is not a satisfactory headset if you plan on wearing it for long periods. The metal "behind-the-ear loop" needs adjustment everytime you put the headset on. The molded soft plastic inner ear retainer constantly slips off, etc., etc. Once you do finally get the M145 in place, it is comfortable to wear... but after two hours or so, you will need to readjust the metal "behind-the-ear loop" otherwise it will begin to rub uncomfortably against the back of the ear. Then again, what do you expect for [$]?

Summary: Mediocre like all Pantronics products
Review: THis headphone set was disappointing, but I should have known since every Plantronics item I have ever owned has been mediocre at best and has not lasted. I do not know how they have gotten a good reputation. Volume on mic and earpiece have to be at maximum to use and then it is marginal. It does not fit well in the ear and is too heavy and unbalanced. Only plus is that it has an excellent silent mute button so other party does not know you have muted the mic.

Review: This Headset is very good, I have a M140 and it work very well, but I need an additional Headset to use in my car, because it select the M145 and it work as well that the M140.

Review: This is a good headset for the price, but it does have some major problems. First, I should note that I use it primarily with my cell phone, not with my cordless phone at home. When I have used it at home, I have found the sound to be fine. When using it with my cell, however, and particularly in the car, I find the volume to be too low. Even with the volume on the head set and on my cell turned all the way up, it is very difficult to hear over the sound of the car. By the way, my car is not that loud, and I have not had this problem when using other headsets. My other complaint stems from the little black sponge thing that covers the ear piece. They are FOREVER falling off in the car. Which, when you're driving, means they are lost to you until you can stop and look for them. Given their size and color, they might be lost for good. The ear piece is uncomfortable -- and the sound quality is terrible -- without the sponge cover. Bottom line: although the headset has been useful, I'm looking for another model that provides better sound quality and doesn't use those little black sponge things.

Summary: Good product until the EarBudeez wears out
Review: This is a good headset with good volume and mic. Works good with cell phone or office phone. The only problem I have found is that when the "EarBudeez" (the little rubber thingie) wears out (and it will) it is impossible to find a replacement. I called Plantronics and they gave me the number to a wholesaler. I called the wholesaler and they do not even carry the replacement part. The wholesaler had no idea where I could get a replacement
