Description:
The MD481 from Motorola is a 2.4 GHz cordless phone that can grown with your needs and includes a built-in answering machine. Expandable up to four handsets (two included), the MD481 lets you place additional extensions anywhere you need them. An intercom function lets you communicate with other handsets on the system, while a conferencing features allows you to speak with multiple parties at once. Caller ID/call waiting compatible, the MD481 holds up to 40 numbers in its internal caller ID memory, and also features a 99-number phone directory (50 per handset, 49 shared) to help you keep track of important numbers. Speakerphones are provided on both the base and the handset, and a headset jack allows you to connect an optional headset for mobile, hands-free communication. A room monitor mode lets you hear what's going on at another handset location, while another mode lets you use the handsets as walkie-talkies.  A page/handset locator makes finding a lost handset quick and easy, and a low-battery indicator lets you know when to return the handset to its cradle to recharge. The all-digital answering machine has one mailbox, which comes with a 15-minute maximum recording time. A memo feature lets you record notes such as driving directions for later recall, while remote operation lets you check your messages while you are away.
