Uniden's EXAI7248 cordless phone combines 2.4 GHz signal operation with call waiting and caller ID compatibility and an integrated digital answering system. The handset features a three-line backlit LCD, allowing easy access to the 30-name-and-number log and other information that's displayed in your choice of English, French, or Spanish. The handset also features last number redial, handset locator, programmable speed dial locations (10), and more. The EXAI7248's base unit houses an integrated digital answering system. Messages can be accessed directly through the base using convenient control buttons with help from convenient voice prompts. Messages can also be retrieved from other locations around the house using the handset, or through remote retrieval when you're away from home. A new-message alert indicator with an optional audible alert tone signals new messages. The EXAI7248 offers hearing aid compatibility for the hearing impaired, and is also headset compatible.
