Description:
If you use your phone line to connect to the Internet, you'll appreciate this phone's Modem Monitor Connection Protection. The TC920 can tell the difference between data and voice conversations and won't let a voice caller interrupt the data connection of a modem or fax machine. The phone also features 900 MHz transmission and a digital message recording system, with voice prompts and time-day stamp, storing 20 minutes of messages. The phone claims to have "remote messaging," but in this case, that doesn't mean you can check messages from any phone, only that you can check messages from the cordless handset. Many Casio phones have seven hours of talk time, but the TC9820 only has five hours of talk time with a seven-day standby. Those with sore necks will, however, appreciate the belt clip and headset included with the phone. Casio provides a one-year warranty.
