Summary: THIS PHONE NEEDS WORK!
Review: For this style phone I have to say that I have gone through 4 of them.. Thank god for warranities.. In under 2 years.. The major problem with them is with normal wear and tear the plastic headset gives easly and breaks... Same place on all phones and all break in under 6 months.. When asked if there was a recall Londondrugs simply said no it was to expensive.. and just replaced the phone.

Review: Great phone....actually have had this specific model for 5years and also have same model with built in Call waiting/caller ID (which has way better features)...
sound quality and reception distance from phone is EXCELLENT; however;
plastic headsets on both of my phones have "cracked" (and are now taped together) right at the slide adjustment...they just cracked from use within first 6months of use on both...
Need to currently buy another new unit with the caller ID feature and acn't seem to find them anywhere...
Great phone overall/great value...

Summary: An Overall Great Phone at a Great Price!
Review: I absolutely love this phone! Being a mom with two small children it is esential my hands are free. I originally had a cordless phone which came with a head-set that attached to it. It was expensive and basically a piece of junk. You could never hear a thing. I then looked for a head-set cordless phone where the phone is actually "part" of the headseat...but they were sooooo expensive. I finally settled on this one. To be honest I was expecting it to be just ho-hum. Much to my suprise the phone was WONDERFUL!!! It is perfectly clear. The headset is very comforable and the phone itself is very lightweight and can be clipped to your belt. I also like how the dial pad is "upside down" so when you dial with it clipped on your belt you can actually see the numbers! In addition the phone comes with an extra battery which stays in the charger. So if you are anything like me and always forget to charge the phone there is always a battery waiting on you! My only complaint about the phone might be that the clip is somewhat flimsy. If you are wearing the phone on your belt and you should bend over it might fall off.
All in all...this is great deal for the money!

Summary: Love this phone, but it died after 1 year.
Review: I absolutely love this phone! It is so lightweight and convenient. The conversations are clear. The headset is comfortable. My only complaint was that my phone stopped working after about 1 year. I have no idea why it stopped, and it was already past the warranty period. However, since it is so inexpensive (compared to all the other cordless headsets) I will get another one and give it second try.

Summary: Can't Live Without It, Best Clarity for a headset vs others
Review: I had tried many headsets that were purchased separately to plug into my cordless phone and they all sucked in one way or the other (weak clarity, fuzziness, broken connections, etc). Finally I decided that the answer was to find a phone where the headset and phone were just one piece and that would solve the problem. It did with the GE headset phone. Very clear, no problems. While others have complained that the headset part breaks I haven't had that problem after a year. But I simply assume that all phones these days are just cheaply made in foreign countries, period. So, I've purchased a second GE phone as a back up when the first one breaks, which I just assume that it will. There's little real quality in the phones today so we should all just get used to it and then won't be so upset when they break. I can't live without the GE headset phone.

Summary: Takes a Lickin...
Review: I have been using this phone almost daily for over two years now. If I had a dollar for every time I dropped it or knocked it off my desk I would own a retirement home in Palm Springs. This phone has never failed me despite the abuse it has been subject to. only now are the batteries beginning to die. I am looking to now replace and took some time to review other models currently available, however did not see any that came with an additional battery. The phone is extremely comfortable to wear, and I have never had any problems with the headset being fixed to the phone. This has actually been a benefit as I have caught the phone many times by the cord, saving a collision with the floor. Why Pay More for Less? Buy It, You'll like It.
