Audiovox GX2400 2.4GHz Cordless Phone

Review: I got this phone to replace a 900 MHz unit that died. Generally, I am pleased with the performance. I've taken it several houses away, with good results. My only real complaint is that it cannot be used when the microwave oven is on. I do not know if this is a problem with all 2.4 GHz phones.

Review: This phone performed marginally for me so I sent it back. The handset began to fade in and out just a few yards from the base unit. It was unusable out in my back yard. Additionally, the voice pumped annoyingly while talking. There are much better cordless phones out there. I have an old 900Mhz Uniden that performs much better used in the same area of my home.
