Summary: A good, clear basic cordless telephone
Review: I was looking for a clear, simple and inexpensive cordless telephone and found it with this Panasonic. Consumer Reports rated the telephone very highly. I bought it from Amazon and it has been a delight to use. The reception is very clear. The phone is easy to hold and the buttons are clearly marked. There are fancier products on the market but I have spent a lot more on cordless phones and gotten a lot less quality. I think this phone is a bargain at the price -- if it has the features you want.

Summary: Great Phone -- perfect sound and clarity
Review: I've had this phone twice and the first time I owned this phone, there were 2 problems: First, your voice is hard to hear for people on the other end and Second: The Flash button when changing over to answer call waiting takes much too long. After returning the phone, having assumed that it must have been a defect, I was issued a new phone that had pretty much the same problems though not as severe. On to the positives, with a long lasting battery, this phone comes in handy when you or someone in your household decides that a battery is fine by itself and doesn't have to be recharged (which this one does). Also, with an exceptional range, I find that I can walk outside the house and still receive decent reception which is phenomenal when considering that this is only a 900mhz phone and not one of the new high-powered ones (2 ghz and higher). Though I originally had reservations about this phone, it has turned into a workhorse for me and would suggest it to anybody that is looking for a decent, moderately priced cordless.

Summary: Great Phone -- perfect sound and clarity
Review: I've owned two Panasonic phones like this one and they're just great. The sound is always crystal clear, the battery stays charged for a good amount of time, and I can walk pretty far from the base. I live in a city, so getting good clarity from cordless phones can be difficult, but these phones do a great job. The only downside: no headset which would make it perfect.

Summary: Great phone
Review: This is your best bet in a cheap cordless phone. Excellent clarity and sound, with good features like ringer volume and three caller volume settings. Panasonic makes great analog cordless phones. These sound far better than any 25channel models and are *far* less prone to static and sloppy connections. Note that the numbers are not backlit on this model. Also, like all 900mhz. analogs, it does not have digital security (unfortunately, your best bet for security features is a 900mhz DSS, and all of those that I've heard sound awful). Again, though, for an inexpensive phone, this is the one to get.
