Review: Had to wait to get this as it was back ordered but well worth the wait. It is by far the best cordless answering machine telephone I ever had. Rings loud and clear, has volume adjustment and makes very clear messages. It even flashes to let you know you have a message. I love this phone

Summary: Superb, brilliant, good price
Review: Having used the full variety, this is why this phone is the best:
1) Solid build - will last
2) Good programmable options
3) Well lit LCD screen
4) Superb speaker phone
5) Good functions (Caller ID etc)
6) Answerphone is digital
The range is brilliant, phone is well shaped, it's so close to a perfect phone. It doesn't have the dialpad on the main unit - but given the functionality of the cordless unit you probably will never use it.
Go for it

Summary: Nice handset speakerphone feature.
Review: I bought one for my elderly father who has hearing aids. He is basically an electrophobe and this was his first cordless phone. He tried and returned others because his hearing aids squealed. He now uses it constantly, because of the handset speakerphone. It is very clear on both ends, I talk to him long distance and I can barely detect a difference in sound quality when he is using the speakerphone in the handset. He holds the phone a few inches away and uses it like a walkie talkie, only full duplex of course. The answering machine comes preprogrammed with a greeting, so he didn't have to mess with recording his own.

Summary: Don't buy this. 0 star indeed!
Review: I bought this phone about 4 months ago. Everything
worked fine except for that the sound quality
of the handset is kind of poor. Then the answer
machine stopped working two weeks ago. The machine
still answers, plays the greetings and lets the
caller leave a message, but any message
left are erased automatically immediately!!!
So your caller think
that you got his/her message but you did NOT actually
get the message!
Don't be surprised if people ask you why you never
call them back!

Summary: NOT GOOD
Review: I bought this phone because of it's features. (handset speakerphone, easy-to-use digital answering machine, slow message playback, etc.) I have since then learned that this phone has terrible reception including pops and crackles on my end of the phone as well as pops on the other end that people I am talking to complain about. Most editorial reviews talk about the good features that this phone has, but after about a week of using this thing you will be ready to throw it away.

Summary: Not pleased at all...
Review: I have a panasonic cordless set I've been using for quite some time which works great, so when I decided to get another panasonic set for another room, I decided on this on. I'm not sure what happened here, either I bought a defective phone or Panasonic has really lowered the bar on quality performance. When dialing a number, usually right after dialing, it'll ring right away, however, this set, it makes several sounds, as if it's connecting to something, like an internet (?) and it takes about 3-5 seconds to "connect", then it starts the actual ringing. The volume on this set [need help] as well. There are only 3 levels, super low, low and ok. Don't they know some people have hearing problems?! And the ring to this set is annoying. It sounds retarded, not like other phone sets. And the ring volume, there's only two levels, super low or rediculously high. However, the major complaint I have with this set is you can't dial any number over 10 digits. For example, you dial the credit card company and then they ask you to punch in your credit card number, you punch it in and well, the phone thinks that you're dialing an actual phone number, so it'll make that "connecting" noise and it'll just keep on doing that, getting you nowhere so eventually, you're forced to hang up and maybe try again and get nowhere again. Luckily, I have another phone for cases like that. Overall, the price you pay on this phone is not even worth it. Even if it was free I wouldn't take it. Stay away from this phone. If I could give it a zero rating, I would.

Summary: Not happy with this phone.
Review: I have not been pleased with this phone. Most of the time it is almost impossible to hear the caller. We have tried all of the adjustments but without success. I have two other cordless phones, both of which cost considerably less that work fine.
I would not recommend buying this phone.

Summary: Don't buy this phone!!
Review: I listened to reviewers about a year ago (most were positive) and bought this phone - and it's been nothing but trouble. I wish I'd waited more time, as the most recent reviews echo my feelings about this phone..which is that it's a real LEMON! Yes, it's got a speaker phone, which is great -- but this positive is more than outweighed by the terrible reception - people's voices fade in and out - and the people on the other end of the phone miss entire words and sentences when you speak. Overall, just awful. I always run and switch to the other phone, which is (a) older (b) less "sophisticated" and (c) was much cheaper

Summary: Works fine for a while, then forget it...
Review: I purchased this same version (last model) of the Panasonic phone just over a year ago. The number pad now works randomly, causing us great frustration as well as many wrong numbers. I have contacted their customer support many times (via email), and have yet to receive any response.

If you are looking for a phone that will last you a couple of years, then I would recommend that you do not purchase this phone. I don't recall EVER having any problems with the old rotary phones...do you?

P.S. If you answer the phone, and the caller has dialed the wrong number...perhaps now, you'll know why.

Summary: Its a Great Phone !!
Review: I really dont understand whats the fuss on static in the phone all about!
I got this phone (White)a week back and it seems to be very clear and without any static at all. Infact I am happy that I bought this phone because it has all the options I wanted....recording m/c and speaker phone (that too on the handset, so you are not stuck around the base unit while using it !!)

I am pretty happy with my purchase, and I would definitely recomend this phone.
