Summary: Best cordless I've had
Review: I have had many different cordless phones. This is by far my favorite. I hate the cordless batteries and have to replace them all the time, and there is no place to charge a spare battery,and when the battery dies, you can't switch to the speaker on the base. You have to pick up another phone. But that's my only complaint. I have had excellent reception and I like the jog dial for quick dialing from memory. I like the CID on the base, too, so I can see if it's worth tracking down the handset. It's easy to program and reprogram - good for changing work numbers and for people in college who move a lot.
