Summary: Either incipient deafness or this phone has big problems
Review: It's just impossible to hear people well on the headset. I'm a reporter and I need to hear every word. There are some people I can barely hear at all. This seems like a rather basic function for a telephone! If I could return this phone, I would. The other quibbles are minor - yes the headset is bulky, etc., but I would be happy to deal with that if the manufacturer had put enough thought into it to have a reasonable volume switch on the headset. Or is there someone out there who knows something I don't know about adjusting the volume?

Summary: Excellent Choice, works both with my PC and the phone line
Review: My close friend gave this phone to me as a gift. Ever since, I have had this phone I dont have to worry about holding the phone with my greasy hands while cooking, or watering the plants etc. Most importantly this phone can be used both as a wireless computer headset as well as a regular phone. When not on the phone, I can listen to music on my computer with no wires. Its simply amazing!

Review: My sister gave me this phone as a gift when I was pregnant, because she said I would need something like this when my hands were full with nursing, holding, or rocking my baby. She was so right! I can't stand to use any other phone anymore - this is the wave of the future! Like other reviewers, I have had the headset phones that have a cord to connect to a compact cordless unit that you can attach to your waist (like a Walkman), but have had the same problem with the cord getting tangled or caught on something and literally jerked off of my ear. I have not had any major problmes with volume, but I don't have sharp hearing, so more volume would be nicer. I DO NOT find this bulky at all - in fact, it is very comfortable. In fact, when I work in my garden, I just put the headset so it lays on my shoulders. Range is great, no static (ever really), and I absolutely love the keypad on the headset - it has raised bumps on the number 5 key, and now I just feel for that to do my dialing, or key entry. The only problem I have had is that I broke the first one I had by sitting on it, glued it back, which worked great till my 2 year old got a hold of it. And when it was just not fixable anymore, I immediately went and bought another just like it. Unfortunately, it fell and broke, too, but I have glued it and it's held up well. So if they could just make it a little sturdier - or else make me less clumsy - then I would be in phone heaven.

Review: The previous reviewers failed to appreciate the best feature about this phone - internet calling capability! What attracted me to this phone is that it connects to the speaker & microphone lines on my PC and easily toggles between the regular phone line and the computer hookup. I wanted to use free internet phone calling, but didn't want to be stuck at my desk with a headset wired to the computer. It was really hard to find a cordless computer headset - locally or online, and I am thrilled that I found this one. Now I use it for most of my regular and internet calls. This phone is comfortable to wear and gets excellent reception anywhere in my house. I have never heard any static, although I have occaisionaly wished that the adjustable volume would go a little higher. The keypad and the volume control located on the headpiece are indispensible if you want to carry the phone around the house with you. And the internet calling is terrific. This phone will pay for itself in a few months, since I now make most of my long distance calls for free.

Summary: Great Idea that needs a few improvements
Review: This is a great phone for anyone who wants to have hand-free conversations away from the phone base without having to clip something on your belt and run a wire up to your ear (this is how every other cordless headset model I've seen is designed). Being able to dial direct from the headset is nice, and despite this the nicely designed headset does not feel heavy on the head at all. The base functions as a speaker phone as well. Three criticisms. First of all, if you want to talk on the headset, you have to dial off the headset. This is annoying if you're sitting down at the base, b/c when you hang up with one call and are ready to dial another number, you have to take the headset off your head so you can see the numbers on the keypad! It would be so much nicer just to be able to hit a button on the base for "headset" and then dial the number right off the base keypad. Second, the microphone on the headset needs to be a bit more sensitive, or better still, adjustable for the party on the other end of the line. Several times I've had people tell me my voice sounds a little soft (even when I'm talking in a normal voice). Third, the battery on the headset needs to be recharged after about every two and a half hours of talking. A longer lasting battery would be nice.

Review: This is the best phone I ever purchased. Crystal clear sound and the best part is the headset without wires. no more tangling. Now i can cook and talk on the phone , take care of the kids while on phone with hands free conversations. The headset is compact and so comfortable. A must for mothers and those who spend a lot of time on phone !!
