Summary: Avoid this headache of a phone!
Review: -This phone gets worse reception that my previous phone, which was a first-generation, pre-900mhz cordless.
-It has a lot of static even though it has way more channels.
-The sound from the speaker and mic are distorted and fuzzy.
-It is too quite, you have to crank the volume all the way up just to hear the other person. You have to use it in a room without anyone else, or the TV.
-The battery dies constantly, and when it does, the phone emits this obnoxiously loud beeping while it is charging. Even though it is on the cradle charging! This is insane- first of all, I don't need that much of an alert that my phone is dying, and second of all, it should stop once it is charging.
-The phone has a poor design- it does not fit securely in the cradle, so you never really know if it is on there good so it can charge.

Overall, this phone is a poorly designed piece of junk that I wish we had never bought. If you are looking for a low priced basic phone, this is not it.

Best wishes,

Jason

Summary: Phone is ok
Review: I bought this at Target store and its alright. The thing that I don't like is that it's LOUD whenever it rings. Another thing that I don't like is that it doesn't have a backlit keypad so basically you have to turn on the light just see. Another thing, sometimes whenever I TALK button, I wouldn't hear the dial tone and then after a while I would a beep so when I press TALK button and try it again, it does the same thing to the point where i have to put the handset back on the base and then pick it back up and press TALK.Oh another thing I don't like is that when someone calls you, it automatically answers the call. Suppose you don't look at the caller ID right away until you pick up the handset and you don't want to talk that person. Other than that it has cyrstal clarity, even on the answering machine, it sits up in a way on your desk. You don't even have to set the clock on the handset, it sets itself as soon as you get the first call and it also comes with a free head set for the phone...now what cordless does that.

Summary: Easy To Program Features
Review: I bought this for my parents. I was able to program their speed dial numbers in just a few minutes and to add the special ring feature to the telephone numbers of their friends and family. The controls on the phone are well designed. The instruction manual was easy to follow.

Summary: Pure Junk
Review: I bought this phone because we owned an old SW Bell Cordless Answering machine and liked it a lot. No More. The hardware is a continuous aggrevation (loses power, noisy, bad volume control) and customer service blames me for all problems. It has gone into the trash - and I have gone to panasonic.

Summary: Jason is correct 100% this phone is junk
Review: I have used many cordless phones and concur with Jason 100%.

This is a phone to stay away from.

I still have this POS and am tossing it and moving on to a higher end Panasonic.

Summary: It's O.K
Review: This phone has a lot of features. My only real problem with it is the volume control. I can hardly hear people when I'm on the phone with them. They seem to hear me just fine. Eventhough the handset volume is turned to "High" it's still hard to hear the ohter person.

Summary: Basically unusable
Review: This phone is basically un-usable. There are crackling noises whenever I make the mistake of trying to use this phone, and I can't always hear what the caller is saying to me. In addition, my voice sounds much louder--although this seems to vary. Apparently, all the problems are on my set, and the people I have spoken to are not aware of a problem. There's no problem with the line itself as another phone I use is alright. It's just the Southwestern Bell that crackles and pops. I do like the feature the answering system has that allows you to delete ALL the messages by holding down the 'erase' button. This is much better than having to go through each old message one-at-a-time and deleting. So in other words, I don't use use this phone to actually talk to anyone and use it for its answering machine capabilities alone--displacedhuman

Summary: Ok phone for the money
Review: This phone works, but it is just ok for the money. There are better priced phones with more features on the market.

Summary: Disappointing
Review: We bought this phone because we needed a phone and answering machine quick. I should have shopped a little more. The display is EXTREMELY difficult to read. It works the opposite of my old phone causing me to hang up on people when I don't intend to, and answer calls I intend the machine to take. I'd like to return it to the Target store where I purchased it. The reception is poor and it has no volume control on the headset.
