Summary: Will buy Uniden any time
Review: Bad experience with an AT&T phone led us to Uniden and we couldn't be more pleased. Great sound clarity, easy to use--and two features hardest for us to find in a phone with Caller ID, answering machine and 2.4 ghz...it was available in white and was wall mountable. Comfortable to hold/listen (on those long-winded mother calls), good battery life and clear in all rooms of the house. Caller ID info is easily readable with date, time and name of caller all displayed in one window. Would highly recommend.

Summary: Terrible reception
Review: Good features, good price, terrible reception. Static interference from the room adjacent to where I kept the phone. If you don't plan on leaving the room where the base unit is (or maybe if you live somewhere with minimal interference) you can get by with it.

Summary: Uniden used to be good
Review: I bought this product because I was pretty happy with my previous Uniden phone, except for the short battery time. But this one is always on the fritz! Constant buzzing, the caller ID doesnt always work. I don't know what is wrong with this thing!

Summary: Not Bad..
Review: I bought this Uniden phone a while ago now, and unlike the other comments listed, mine has great reception and I am very happy with it. The only problem with the phone is, the digital answering machine. While recording the outgoing greeting, it makes your voice sound cracked up and not very clear, but other than that, it's fairly easy to use..

Summary: PARENT Uniden 2248
Review: I love this digital camera. I use it all the time! I can take pics and load them on the computer quickly and effitiently. Out of all the cameras that I have this one is my favorite. This cam is the best if you want a cam for a low price. This cam will last a while some people dont like it and I can understand some of the things on this cam are not so great that is why I only put 3 stars instead of 5.

Summary: Pleased With the Uniden EXAI 2248
Review: I purchased a Uniden with similar features last year as a gift for my sister and due to rave reviews, I just purchased this one for myself. What can I say other than "I love it!" And my sister loves hers after 1 year of use. It does what it says it will do and keeps on ticking even after 1 year of use from 3 kids and a husband!!!

Summary: Good phone
Review: I wanted an inexpensive, reasonably attractive-looking, white-colored, cordless wall phone with a built-in answering machine, good reception, and an easy setup. It's all of those things. Glad I got it.

Summary: Poor reception - try the 900MHz version - it's great!
Review: I'm sure this could actually be a great phone if you are not living in an area with a concentration electronics and wireless devices.

The features were wonderful, and I was immensely pleased with everything except the reception which was poor at any distance greater than 1 foot. While it is fair to expect some interference from wireless LANs (mine, like most runs at 2.4 GHz) this was completely unworkable.

If you have a lot of electronics around or live in appartment, then get the 900MHz version (EXAI-398). It works perfectly and has the same features.

Summary: A great phone at a great price
Review: In terms of $$ phones, this one can't be beat! I installed this one in my 2-bedroom apartment (825 square feet), and have crystal clear reception in all rooms. It does have a few quirks about it (weak microphone for the answering machine, semi-odd shape of the receiver), but these are more than made up for by the low price and ease-of-use.
