Summary: Battery continually dies after 10minutes of use!!!
Review: Completely happy with this telephone. We use the "speaker" function regularly with the grandchildren so we can both talk and listen. The phone works perfectly. In fact, no one has asked us to turn off the speaker phone function... as was the case with our old phone.

We leave it in its base to recharge, so we are not aware of any problems with longer battery life.

With amazon's great return policy you cannot go wrong on this one if you should decide you do not like it!

This is an excellent product!

Summary: Useless, terrible service from Panasonic
Review: I like this phone. We've had it 3 weeks and it is an immense improvement over another brand I bought in November. Calls are clear, phone is easy to use and program, the ring is not a jarring jangle, the prompting recordings are clear and I like the default answering message enough to leave it alone. I like the way the phone hangs on the wall and how the handset securely clicks into place. The handset is a nice length and weight. I can't speak to the battery problem because we are not lengthy talkers and the handset remains in the cradle when not in use.

Summary: Only 45 minutes of talk time!
Review: I really like all of the features - it has everything I was looking for and it's fairly easy to use, but I've never had a call last more than 45 minutes - much less if it's been off the hook for a while. The manual claims if you fully charge it only when it's almost completely drained, you should get up to 5 hours of talk time and up to 11 days of stand-by time (not that I've been able to test that claim). I've emailed Panasonic and will write a revised review if they can fix the problem to my satisfaction.

Summary: Buyer beware
Review: If you purchase this product, I hope you are completely satisfied. It is my opinion that the reliability of Panasonic products has slipped in recent years, and this was confirmed to me when a product I purchased quickly failed. The reason I'm posting this is to warn you that the warranty that accompanies Panasonic products only has value if the company chooses to stand behind it. In my case, they weaseled out of it, leaving me with a total loss and no further recourse. Good luck with your decision.

Summary: The speakerphone is a "handset speakerphone"
Review: It helps to know that the speakerphone is not on the base unit as one might expect. I found this out from the panasonic website.

Summary: Battery continually dies after 10minutes of use!!!
Review: The only complaint I have about this phone is that, as the title states the battery dies after a few phone calls, and that is after it is left on the base to recharge overnight!! A friend of mine who has the same phone had this same trouble, called Panasonic and rec'd a new battery free of charge. So I wil try it and see.
