Summary: our phone is fine
Review: Our phone is working fine. In looking at the reviews, the customer rankings don't get any better as you go up in price so I just decided to get this one. You can always return it if it's a piece. Anyway, it's working fine so far.

Summary: Faulty Phone
Review: The phone was delivered in August 2003. Its functions had been fine for about 7 weeks. The phone function continues to work fine. However, there are now problems with the telephone's answering machine functions. All buttons on the phone are now unresponsive. We have calls on the phone that cannot be played. We cannot adjust settings, volume, time, or play or erase any messages. It is now disconnected and I am looking to return the item or obtain a refund for the product.

Review: This phone appeared to be adequate when I purchased it. However, the answering machine broke after 5 months. I purchased it at Target and they would not let me return it, even with a receipt! I will never purchase another GE phone, especially from Target.

Review: when someone calls and thenhangs up, the machine will not hang up - then the voice comes on from the telephone company - if you would like to make a call -- then the warbelling dial tone which the machine records.
