The Panasonic KXTG2560S represents the next generation in cordless telephones. Using spread spectrum frequency transmission, this cordless delivers extended calling range, noticeably enhanced clarity, and increased security. Operating on two different bands, 2.4 GHz on the base and 900 MHz on the handset, the KXTG2560S provides superior sound quality and lack of echo over a far greater range than its predecessors. In addition, frequency hopping helps this unit resist interference from devices sharing similar bands, such as microwaves. Enhanced security is another useful benefit. With 2.4 GHz of bandwidth, the KXTG2560S changes frequencies constantly, making conversations difficult to monitor and eavesdropping unlikely. This model comes equipped with a multifunction LCD panel for caller ID, and displays the current caller's name and number while storing up to 50 entries.
