Description:
Uniden's DXI-3286-2 is a two handset analog cordless phone system that comes with some very useful features and a reasonable price tag. By utilizing the 2.4 GHz analog frequency and 20 channels of auto-scan, the DXI-3286-2 offers clear, intelligible reception even at a distance. Wall-mountable to help free up desktop clutter, the DXI-3286-2 is also headset compatible (a belt clip is provided) for hands-free operation. An autotalk setting lets users answer the phone simply by picking it up off the base, while 20 speed-dial presets (on each phone) provide easy access to the most frequently called numbers. Chain dialing allows users to store a set of up to 20 numbers in each speed-dial preset that might needed after the phone connects--useful for calling cards, automated services, and so on. Caller ID and call waiting compatible, up to 30 caller ID numbers are stored in the internal memory, each with a time/date stamp. The Ni-CD battery provides up to seven hours of talk time and up to 14 days of standby. The handset-to-handset transfer feature allows users to forward calls to the other phone. A voicemail waiting indicator lets you know when you have received new calls (subscription to a fee-based service is required), and the page button on the base makes finding a lost handset quick and painless. The DXI-3286-2 also comes backed with a one-year parts and labor warranty.
