Summary: Don't buy it
Review: I have had the same problems as some of the other reveiwers, poor battery life, and muffled sound. I have listened to this phone on the other end and it is muffled and hard to understand. Sometimes it is hard to get the handset on properly so it charges, and even if the charge indicator is lit, the battery life is short once you start talking. No good. Try the Olympia phone, it is cheaper, longer range and battery life, and sound quality is great.

Summary: What's the gripe?
Review: I have had this phone for several weeks now, and I love it! It is extremely easy to use and set up, the sound is crystal clear, and so far no complaints! When I read so many bad reviews of this phone, I was seriously thinking of returning it! But I have held off, and I'm glad I did. The range is super, answering machine crystal clear, and you can store a lot of your frequently dialed numbers, which I love -- no more searching for phone numbers. Plus it has that "high-tech" appearance -- looks good!

Summary: not a bad phone
Review: I know the other reviewers didn't rate this phone very well. I have only had it for a month but haven't seen anything that bad with it. The sound/reception is fine, the answering machine works well and it stays charged for a long time. Let's hope all this continues.

Summary: This Panasonic Phone lacks cordless range
Review: I own the Panasonic KX-TG2267 and the
Panasonic KX-TG2593B 2.4 GHz DSS 2-Line Cordless Telephone.

I purchased the KX-TG2267 because I did not need another answering a machine, wanted the speaker phone feature on the handset and wanted the lower price.

Both phones are two line phones and both handset have acceptable volume and features like call ID, the problem is that the quality of the recption on wirless hand set of the KX-TG2267 is poor. It also has very little range.

The KX-TG2593B is a much better cordless phone, I think it is because of the DSS feature. Buy this phone!

Summary: Don't buy this phone
Review: I really liked this phone for the first month I owned it. Now it takes 24 hours (or more)to recharge and it won't hold that charge. I will never buy another Panasonic phone. Customer Service is lousy. They know they have a problem, but won't do anything to help.

Summary: A digital duplex speakerphone w/ a mute key.
Review: I wanted a duplex speakerphone that had a mute key.

It was very difficult to find both features for some reason, and bought this phone even though the Panasonic product info page says it doesn't have handset/speakerphone volume control (it does). The microphone doesn't sound great but at least people don't ask me to repeat what i say, the speaker is better and i can hear what the other side is saying and the duplex stuff works pretty well (words don't get cut off at the beginning of each sentence). I spent a long time looking for a phone, and am happy so far with this one.

I tend not to talk on the phone for a long time, so i can't address the battery life complaint.

Review: I've tried this phone two times, just because of its rich features, but Panasonic being the big name company like it is has failed me both the times.

If you forget to remove the handset from the base unit for a day or two, you'll be doomed (like ppl don't go on vacation). After leaving the handset on the phone over a day, it blew up something in the phone, now every time I try to dial a number it wd keep sounding the dial tone like it didn't accept the key. Also, ppl calling me can't hear me while I can.

I exchanged this unit from the store, thinking a surge or something might have caused it & installed a surge protector with it, but to no avail the second one also ended up with the same problem.

Now, I can't even return it as I am over the return period & the customer service is of no use, they want me to pay for shipping & handling to their service centre for a repair or refurbished unit. ...

Summary: Buyer beware
Review: If you purchase this product, I hope you are completely satisfied. It is my opinion that the reliability of Panasonic products has slipped in recent years, and this was confirmed to me when a product I purchased quickly failed. The reason I'm posting this is to warn you that the warranty that accompanies Panasonic products only has value if the company chooses to stand behind it. In my case, they weaseled out of it, leaving me with a total loss and no further recourse. Good luck with your decision.

Summary: Poor Battery Life, Handset and Base Memory need separate
Review: Like many of the reviews already here- I have had the poor battery problems. The talk-time has steadily decayed, and even when the phone was brand-new it never held-up to the claimed 5hrs in the manual.

Another annoyance is the fact that the handset and base phone memory need to be programmed seperately. i.e. each number you want to store has to be entered twice!

The speaker phone seems to be poor too- the other-end almost always has problems hearing you.
