Summary: It has it All.....Almost
Review: I recently purchased this Panasonic phone to replace a AT&T phone I owned for 14 Years. What a difference! The 2.4ghz is alot clearer and with Caller ID and an Answering Machine I have the best of all worlds. It is very easy to set up and use with very clear instructions. The only improvement on this fine phone would be more than 3 Direct Dial numbers ( my old phone had 10 ) I highly recommend it.

Summary: A Waste Of Money
Review: I thought I was getting a bargain by purchasing this, because it included the cordless handset as well as the base unit. Boy, was I wrong. I've had this phone for about a year, and I've replaced the battery twice already. Even with a brand-new battery, the handset is only good for about 45 minutes before it needs to be recharged. A big waste of money.

Summary: Good Phone...........Kind of........
Review: I'm buying this phone to replace my Sony SPP-A2480 (GREAT PHONE!! NO PROBLEMS! Just broke it) Well I bought this phone today and I plan on returning it tomarrow! It does sound GREAT!! But there are things that bother me about it to much to keep.

1. You can't add numbers to the Directory from the base you have to use the cordless.

2. BAD menu layout kind of confusing at first.

3. Time it takes for the cordless to access the CID and the directory. Not real long just annyoing.

4. You can't scan a call from the cordless.

5.It has features nothing that makes it stand out from others! not worth the price. Most of them are kind of useless (turning off the speaker on the answering machine or setting up how many numbers the caller ID displays) or not something the average person would use (setting Thee flash length or setting the line mode..anyone know what that means?)

In all I'm VERY disapointed in this phone So I'll be out to find another one tomarrow! Make sure you keep your reciept if you buy this phone. Looks good on the outside but it's kind of rotten when you bite into it.

Summary: Buyer beware
Review: If you purchase this product, I hope you are completely satisfied. It is my opinion that the reliability of Panasonic products has slipped in recent years, and this was confirmed to me when a product I purchased quickly failed. The reason I'm posting this is to warn you that the warranty that accompanies Panasonic products only has value if the company chooses to stand behind it. In my case, they weaseled out of it, leaving me with a total loss and no further recourse. Good luck with your decision.

Summary: Average phone, a bit outdated for our time...
Review: It is not convinient to work with direct dialing through cordless set. There are only 3 direct dialing numbers available - should be at least 10 for our days. THE WORST THING of this phone battery in the cordless set are dying within 5 minutes. In the begining Battery was holing the charge for abt half an our. After about 6 month of using I can not make a call - battery dies as soon as I am starting to dial the number.

Summary: WORST phone ever!
Review: The battery on this phone lasted about 2 months before it died. I replaced it with a new one, costing me 15.00, and that one too lasted about 2 months. Now, since it's too late to return it, I basically just use it as a desktop phone and answering machine because the cordless only works for about 3 minutes before it beeps and tells me it needs to be recharged. Please don't waste your time with this product. It set me back 184.00 , and I'll never buy another Panasonic again.

Summary: Worthless when the battery is always dead!
Review: This is a very nice base unit coupled with a worthless handset. I have returned the whole system once to Panasonic and replaced the battery three times in one year. It has always been charged according to directions. Apparently, this model is the victim of short sighted engineering. Stay away unless you have a garage full of expensive batteries for the handset!

Summary: Lots Of Hits, But Some Bad Misses
Review: True this phone has lots of bells and whistles, but there are some glaring problems.

First, the outgoing message recording quality leaves a lot to be desired. It is so weak and tinny, callers don't recognize my voice. They think it's a wrong number. Next, the display brightness and contrast are too limited, making it difficult to read at an angle. You must be staring at it head on. Third, when dialing in from the outside and entering your code, there are no prompts for the system, other than playing messages. Not even one for deleting a message, going back one, skipping ahead, etc.. Unless you carry the 95 page instruction booklet around with you, you're helpless. And last, but not least, there are occasional bursts of low volume, high frequency noise on the line. Not enough to disrupt a conversation, but enough to be a nuisance.

Even though you get a lot with this system, given its relatively high price, it leaves too much to be desired.
