The DXAI3288-2 from Uniden is a 2.4 GHz phone with two handsets and an integrated answering machine. By utilizing the 2.4 GHz frequency and 20 channels of auto-scan, the DXAI3288-2 offers clearer, more intelligible reception than older 900 MHz phones. Call waiting and caller ID compatible, the DXAI3288-2 holds up to 30 caller ID numbers in its internal memory, while a call transfer feature lets you switch calls over to the other handset. The integrated digital answering machine has a 11 minute maximum record time and features remote operation, so you can check your messages while you are away. A new message waiting indicator lets you know when you have received new calls, and each handset holds up to 20 speed dial presets. The NiCD battery provides up to seven hours of talk time and up to seven days of standby, while a low battery indicator on the handset lets you know when to recharge. You can access information such as the call record, internal clock, and caller ID through the three-line LCD on the each handset, and a page button on the base ensures that you can always find a lost phone.
