P3 International P5085 Telephone Recorder

Summary: Never worked properly
Review: As stated by another reviewer, the device turns itself off after recording for a few seconds. E-mail to the company resulted in explaining the same info in the manual i.e., how to plug in, switch settings, etc. Concludes that if that doesn't work, it must be the drive belt. I fastened the Play-Record buttons down with rubber bands, and although it tries to turn itself off (clicking away), I have managed to record conversations. Sometimes I find it taping when nothing is going on. Too much of a hassle to send back, I guess I'll keep it while I look for a more reliable machine.

Summary: P3 International Telephone recorder
Review: It seems like it has the right idea, but the adapter for the telephone jack in the wall didn't work, and the recorder shuts off after about 90 seconds, (you can't record calls longer then 90 seconds without manually restarting the machine). Overall, it's been a hassle so far, and I'm not happy with it. I'm hoping this is only specific to the machine I got, and am hoping the company I got it from will exchange it.
