Summary: useful for a little more than a year
Review: First, we switched cords because the one provided is a bit short. But the phone was as good as advertised until the plastic that holds the phone to the wall became brittle and broke off. Now it just hangs there from the wall by the little wire that connects to the jack, begging to be replaced.

Summary: Great value
Review: If all you need is a good vanilla phone, not a communications center, you can't do much better. I swear by these phones. Been using them since 1995 -- one I broke, the other I gave to my girlfriend. Am now on my third. Take reasonable care with them, they last forever.
Sound quality is great, they are attractive, feel nice in the hand, and don't require a day of instruction manual reading.
What a shame Sony stopped making them.
Beware of getting these used -- half of them seem to have been abused in some way, but they're worth the search if you can find one in good condition.

Summary: A good, basic phone
Review: This is a nice little phone. Although the handset is small, it is comfortable to hold and has a hefty feel which some larger handsets lack. It has good sound quality, and seems to avoid the noise and static our other phone (the one we're about to replace) picks up.

Summary: A good, basic phone
Review: This phone is perfect for any place in the home. The quality and material construction is very good. It has a simple matte finish that doesn't grease or dirty too easily. The ergonomics of hands-free talking is quite comparable to any Dreyfuss traditional hand sets. There is a nice heft at the top/front end like the old ATT merlin units.

The button layout and memory functions are straight forward. There's actually a nice positive feel when depressing the buttons - critical when you're trying to call in to that radio station for the big prize.

It's got all the standard things at a more than reasonable cost. They come in a range of colors too - not necessarily here online, but I've seen everything from business black/grey to camo green.
