Summary: The most for my money
Review: After looking for other phone systems with the same features, and after having used these phones in our offices for the last year or so, I am convinced that these phones are one of the best phone system investments we have ever made. I don't know what one of the other reviewers was talking about when he said he had bleed-through problems between his lines. I have never had these. Could this could have been due to incorrect wiring in his walls? Another reviewer said he liked a Panasonic cordless system better. Personally I reviewed that system and the voicemail was not a system where each user had these things: 1. A voice mail box that answered by default whenever the user was away. 2. A light on each user's phone that blinked whenever any user had voicemail waiting.I'm not really certain if the other reviewers might not have been employees of Panasonic, but I am the owner of Miracle Vision Vision Aids of Clearwater Florida and I give this phone system 5 stars! Summary: In a pure office environment, maybe.
Review: As dedicated office equipment this system might have some value. For use in the home with any additional phones it has little value. I purchased four; one for the kitchen, home office, master bedroom and den. A call answered on a non system phone (a bedroom trimline) can not be picked up by any of the CASIO phones. The Telephones have a privacy feature that prevents other Casio extensions from picking up unless the call is first placed on hold. The answering system "Auto Attendant" takes four programming steps to turn on. When on it disables the ringers on all other Casio extensions. Most of us are used to the anwswering machine always being on and picking up after four or so rings. Quality of calls is good and the intercom feature is quite useful, except when an extension is on privacy. If your still interested check the auction site, there are four at half price.

Summary: Please save your money
Review: At first look, this sounds to be the ultimate phone created to deliver all that you need. I use this phone at home and sound quality is worse than the $20 phone from K-Mart. The Speaker phone has very low volume and you hear a constant noise on the line, be it through the speaker or the handset. Accessing and reviewing voicemails is very slow compared to any other system that I have used. It sure sounds exciting in the beginning, but you will be looking for a new phone soon. I would recommend checking other phones before you buy this.

Summary: The SI 460 is a piece of JUNK
Review: Casio told me they discontinued the SI 460 (all phones)when I contacted their totally inept tech support group on 5/15/02. I've had nothing but trouble with the 2 SI 460s since I bought them last year. Their tech support/customer service capabilities are as bad as their technology. No wonder they stopped making corded phones!! I am not going to rehash my bad experiences with Casio over the last 1+ years as it will make me crazy. I had enough dealing with them earlier today.

Review: I bought 4 of the phones and I am online today to purchase another 3 phones. I have a very busy phone based brokerage business and as of yet I can't afford a full system -- the Casio system really fills the niche. We also had phone bleed problems but after investigation we realized our plug-in headsets from another company were causing the problem. I'd write more but work is a little busy and I just wanted to share that tip on phone bleed.

Summary: Amazing Business Phone
Review: I bought three phones for my business. The auto attendant answers all my incoming lines and the line privacy feature keeps other extensions from intruding on my calls. The recording quality is very good and I like the caller ID displayed with each call. I never thought I could afford a system with all these features. I only wish I could have 5 or 6 lines for each station...This is a great phone.

Review: I originally purchased this phone because of its ability to act as a pbx system at a low cost. It would have been ideal for small businesses or offices. The drawback is simply the sound quality. For a phone with such great potential, Casio should have put a little more work into this "small" detail. While on the handset the volume was always too low no matter how high you had the volume. The speakerphone was useless. There is an additional jack (rj-11) for a headset however it was geared for the older style headsets which are expensive... More importantly, while using this phone I was always asked to speak up by the party on the other end. If you don't mind lacking sound quality in your phone system then this may be a good purchase. For me I would choose to go with a system with fewer features rather than not be heard.

Summary: Casio "Phonehate"
Review: I purchased 4 of these phones prior to reading the reviews on this site. I had done some research and from everything that I could find, which was not much, this was the best deal around short of a full blown pbx system. The first problem that I encountered was that at times when you hang up the phone the receiver does not set all the way in the cradle and after a few minutes I would hear a beeping tone which alerted me to the fact that the phone was off the hook. I also notice that when several lines were in use you could actually hear the conversations of the other individuals in the office who were on the line. The final straw was when a couple of my clients gave me some feedback as to what they thought about the system. If you really want to get a pulse on how well a new phone system is working, ask your clients. Needless to say, after spending ($) per phone I was very disappointed. I did some more research and I returned the phones and I purchased the ... phone system. Within 1 hour of puchasing this system I had it up and running and the autoattendant was taking calls. Everyone in my office loves this system, and my clients are complimenting me on expanding my business. If you are in business, that speaks for itself!!
