Summary: Jabra Hits A Homer w/ This One...
Review: The Jabra Bluetooth wireless headset works great w/ my Sony/Ericson 616 cell phone. I am driving much of the day, and it is the most conveniant thing I've had in a while. Once you go wireless you'll never go back. The audio is great, and many of my contacts say it is the clearest they've ever heard me. The only drawback is, I wish you could get farther away from your phone. Right now you can only get about 30 feet from the unit, but I'm sure they will improve that w/ time. Otherwise the BT headset works great. You may experience some static at times, or a little iterfearence, but that comes w/ any cell phone, and most times, depends on your carrier. Overall a great unit. Very BATMAN-esque.

Summary: horrible mic
Review: The one I bought has very horrible mic reception, a lots of friend insist me to change another headset.
The connection from headset to adapter is too slow, takes average 4 second to make connection and answer the phone, i do miss some calls.
The adapter sometime will lose power without any warning, need reconnect the power adapter to active it again.
the headset fits my ear very well and the sound quality is good too.

Summary: Careful - it might not work with your phone!
Review: There are two versions for non-bluetooth phones with 2.5mm jack. One for a 3 conductor jack and one for a 4 conductor. Don't be fooled by the link for compatible phones, which advises you "All phones with 2.5mm jack." Not true!! My phone is a Nokia 3500 series and it has a 4 conductor 2.5mm jack, and it doesn't work with this Jabra (model 100-91030000-02) I needed the model 100-91430000-02, and there's no distinction on Amazon's website. So this will be the 2nd return. First was my error in ordering the Jabra for a bluetooth phone. My phone is not.

Summary: Waste of Money
Review: Thing only good thing I have to say is; it was comfortable. Hard to hear when driving, didn't work at all with the driver window or any window down, moving or not. Battery life is minutes not hours. Takes too long to recharge, if it even completes the recharge cycle. It takes to many operations to answer a non-bluetooth phone. And whoever designed it, never really used it, looks great but doesn't function well. Finally, customer support, there really isn't any.

Summary: A Nearly Useless and Very Unpleasant Product
Review: This adaptor requires so much time to get turned on and linked to itself, I wouldn't even try to use it to answer calls. And this process requires so much visual attention that it would be dangerous to do while driving.

If you go through the arcane procedure of getting this nightmare of technology working, the loud static clicks--even with the earpiece and phone a foot apart--will make you wonder why you bothered.

The Answer/End button might do something on some phones, but not on my Samsung i330.

Summary: Wonderful, but only for a short time
Review: This headset was great, so was the second one I bought. But both lasted only around 6 months and then would no longer hold a charge. I just tried another Jabra product with a cord, and sure enough, didn't work after about 6 months. I'm one of those people who open a package and then throw the package out as well as the receipt (I believe Jabra has a 1 year warranty). Learn from my stupidity - save your receipt.

Summary: Cryptic Beeps and Flashes
Review: Way back in the dark ages (when Bluetooth was something you got from chewing on a ballpoint pen), an electronic device would have an on/off switch. My, how times have changed. Today, instead of an on/off switch, Jabra BT200 users must endure the following:

To turn on the headset, "press and hold [] for 3 to 5 seconds until you see a burst of flashes on the blue indicator light, then release." While this is going on you hear "Ascending (low-to-high) tones." You will see the following: "The blue indicator light will flash while the power is on (see the following Status indicators table)." Got that? Now, to turn the headset off, "Press and hold [] for 3 to 5 seconds until you see a burst of flashes on the blue indicator light, then release." You will hear "Descending (high-to-low) tones" and "The blue indicator light will stop flashing."

Oh, and one other thing: "IMPORTANT: Do not hold the [] button down for more than 3 to 5 seconds when turning the headset on or else it may go into pairing mode, and the blue indicator light will turn solid. If that happens, turn off the headset, wait 3 to 5 seconds, and repeat process for turning the headset on."

If your phone rings and the headset is off, it must first be turned on, then you must press another button to turn on the audio link between the headset and the "multi-adaptor" connected to your phone. This link can take several seconds. You hear "a quick series of 2 tones - low to high pitch - when active mode starts." Almost done -- now you have to answer the call with the phone's keypad. I've found it much faster to just answer the phone without the headset.

Sound quality is pretty good, though the signal-to-noise ratio is a bit less than with the phone alone. Earpiece volume is more than adequate, even if the earbud is not tightly coupled with your ear, which is a comfort advantage and useful in noisy environments.

The multi-adaptor connects to your cell phone's 2.5mm jack via non-removable lightweight coiled cord. A blue LED flashes periodically to indicate charge status. It can be clipped to your belt and acts as a holder for the headset when not in use.

It multi-adaptor also acts as a charging cradle when attached to the compact and lightweight "wall wart," which is included.

The headset shell is made of thermoplastic polyurethane ear-side (with a grippier texture to keep it from sliding around), while the contrasting silver back around the buttons is harder polycarbonate. The headset can be fitted for left or right ear by simply rotating the supplied "MiniGel" earbud. There are two types included.

Finally, the headset has a NON-REPLACEABLE BATTERY. When the battery starts to lose its ability to hold a charge (the progression is non-linear), you are out of luck. I'm guessing this would probably be about a year for a heavy user, but the user manual sheds no light on this issue. That's a 1-star deduction.

Summary: Still waiting ...
Review: We would like to write a review of the product but much to our dismay the item isn't available as billed on the Amazon.com site.
If you go to the site it shows the item in stock and a note that most items ship within 24 hours but after ordering we got a note that says the estimated delivery time may be as much as a week to 10 days away!!! So why did we pay for 2 day delivery again?
It gets better... Just checked again and now the price is $149.00 a $10.00 increase from yesterday and shipping is now $15.00. What gives here?

Summary: Works with Treo 300 but ....
Review: Well after I finally was able to dig up information that this device would work with my Sprint Treo I purchased one. It works great except for one thing. I can't answer the phone with the headset itself. I have to actually flip open the lid of the phone to answer the call and *then* press the phone button. It kind of defeated the purpose of it for me.

Summary: It's better to wait for next generation
Review: Well-built but it has terrible voice quality with severe echo. I have to put the base next to the headset to get decent sounds. I'll try it for a couple more days before shipping it back.
