Summary: Used with a Nokia 6310i - with mixed results
Review: The Jabra FreeSpeak connected with my Nokia 6310i fine, but it would disconnect for no reason. The headset was never farther then my ear to my waist. The clarity was never as good as a wired headset. People complained they could not hear me very well and the static was louder then the conversation most of the time. It could be the phone or I just got a bad one. I have not tried any other Bluetooth headsets. This was the cheapest and I thought I would try it first. I will try another brand when I can get a good deal on one.

Summary: Best of class, love it, but latency a little bothersome
Review: I use this headset with the sonyericcson t68i phone.
- easy to set up, although you have to put your phone into "discoverable" status, then have the headset try to find the phone. Not too hard, but not simple either
- the multifunction button works great for picking up calls, ending calls, inititating voice dialing and voice answering, and for swapping calls
- i've never let it go more than 2 days without charging, but it seems to hold a charge well
- it is light, and can easily be worn for hours at a stretch. Fits over the ear well.
- people will ask you if you are a borg - I always respond "you will become one with the borg."

Latency
- the headset starts ringing about 1.5 seconds after the phone
- when you say "answer" to answer a call, it takes 1.5 seconds before it kicks in and stops ringing, so you're not always sure that it heard you. You have to speak, then wait and have faith through one more ring before it picks up
- same delay when using voice dialing - speak, wait and hope that it heard you

However, these may be bluetooth issues, and not a problem with the headset. I highly recommend this little guy.

Summary: Cool gadget but desperatly needs redesign
Review: First one I received had a defective answer key. Sent it back for a replacement. The replacement unit looked really cool and function well in an ideal situation. However it was way to sensitive to interferance and the range claims didn't hold up to my exerience. It frequently got choppy when more than 2-3 feet from the phone. I'm using Ericsson T68m. I replaced it with the Plantronics M1000 which so far seems to function better.

Summary: Wonderful bluetooth headset
Review: this is a great headset:
- very easy to set-up - i was up and running in a few minutes
- very light as this headset weighs less than an ounce!
- very comfortable - i've literally forgotten that i had this on!
- great reception for both user and the called party
- no wires, of course
- the price is right, 50% less than sonyericsson's bluetooth headset
- non-bluetooth phone owners have the option of buying an optional adaptor so they can get this wireless funcionality
- battery life is close to manufacturer specs (100hrs standby, 4hrs talk)

if you're looking for a bluetooth headset, this should be in your short list. peace.

Summary: I'm loving my SonyEricson T68i-Jabra Freespeak-iSync & OS X
Review: I'm loving my SonyEricson T68i, Jabra Freespeak Headset, iSync, Bluetooth & OS X!!!

Christmas came early this year! And this is just to freaking cool not to speak up about it...

I can sync the T68i with my computer, Addresses and iCal stuff. I can use the T68i to connect, both via Bluetooth & IR to most any ISP (it's not hard to setup OS X to pair and use the phone).

But the real power of this phone is demonstrated by coupling it with a wireless Bluetooth headset like the Jabra Freespeak. It is so easy to initiate and answer (or reject) calls via voice commands. The headset is small, light and it fits well without totally occluding the ear canal, so you can still hear ambient local sounds.

The reception is pretty good, and it's secure (unless you're paranoid) but the range is nowhere near 30 feet, more like 10. Can't comment on battery life as I've only had it a few days.

I'm impressed. This could be a paradigm shift in the way people use cell phones to communicate, or at least make driving safer.

Two things left to explore. Sending and/or receiving fax via IR or BT (with Cocca eFax), and using the Jabra headset with my PowerMac 867DP as a sound input device. Maybe some nice programmer will write an open-source driver to do so. Or maybe Jabra or Apple will do so. We can hope.

Summary: Great headset, great price
Review: I have to say this product is great. It worked with my phone in 5 minutes, and has great reception! Fit is very comfortable. It doesn't feel like it will fall off, but it isn't tight or annoying to leave in your ear (while you are driving) for instance. If you are looking for a bluetooth headset, this is the best on in my opinion! Especially for the price. Probably the most stylish one out too!

Summary: Great accessory....
Review: I love my Jabra Bluetooth Headset, no more wires dangling....the reception is perfect, my friends hear me loud and clear, I think it cancels the background noise perfectly. Also, the unit is really light, so it is very easy to get used to it on the ear. The price is great too...I think it is a perfect companion for my T68. The setup to pair it with my phone was painless as well.

Summary: Minority report phone : )
Review: I bought this headset after seing minority report, on wich film it appears a phone just like that. And its's a fact! Except for sms, today I can say this my phone. First 'cause I can dial the numbers by voice, second 'cause this baby works perfectilly, sometimes beyond the 10 feet range... just try it. Sound is not a problem for me but I only can compare the sound on the headset with the efr sound of my Ericsson t39m cell phone : )

Summary: Doesn't work as well as I hoped...
Review: For the price, I guess you can say it's a ok deal, since most of the other Bluetooth headsets cost an arm and a leg. I paired it w/ a Sony Ericsson T68i and it was easy to set up. The unit does not work very well though. I have called many people many times in many different locations and they all complain that I sound like a 60's robot and a broken one at that. I would recommend that you try it out at a retail store before actually buying the unit. I sort of figured it wouldn't be that good because of the price but I wanted to try it anyway.

*UPDATE* It's been about 3 weeks now since I first tried this headset out and I take back what I said about it. I have used it almost on a daily basis (when I'm indoors) and I would occasionally ask the people I'm talking w/ on the phone "How do I sound on the headset?" and they were quite surprised to hear me ask that because they told me it didn't even sound like I was using one. So after my little "INDOOR field test" I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to dive into the bluetooth technology pool. Please note that I have only used it indoors...
