Summary: loud, poor reception, unpredictable.
Review: I used this headset with my Nokia 6310i. The headset occasionally performed well. Maybe 1 out of 4 calls I had no problems. The rest of the time I had problems with it doing one of the following:

1. Randomly disconnecting from my phone during a call.
2. Constantly disconnecting and reconnecting to my phone while in standby.
3. The volume would be extremely loud even on its lowest setting.
4. The reception was totally unpredictable and would one moment be fine and the next be inaudible for no apparent reason.

The only good thing about this headset how comfortable it was, but it hardly made up for its defects. I talked to both Jabra and Nokia and they both pointed the finger at each other with regards to what the problem was. I ended up returning it and getting the Nokia version. While it was not perfect, I had much more success with it. Too bad it's not nearly as comfortable.

Summary: DESIGNED BY AN IDIOT - BEWARE!
Review: It was hinted at inside the manual, but never completely stated, so I called JABRA and asked: THE BATTERIES INSIDE BOTH OF THESE UNITS ARE NON-REPLACEABLE. That means that somewhere between 300 - 600 recharges, YOU WILL HAVE TO THROW THE ENTIRE UNIT AWAY!!! But wait, the insanity doesn't stop there: The earpiece is a tapered ear-gel: IT DOESN'T STAY IN YOUR EAR unless you hold it there with your hand, which DEFEATS THE WHOLE CONCEPT of "hands-free". And, to top it off, the activation/de-activation sequence/ear-tones are confusing and goofy; half the time, the activation remained after I terminated a call, which quickly drained the adapter. WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK! My advice: Either buy or wait for a native Bluetooth phone!

Summary: Expected more value for the price.
Review: I've had the Jabra for about 6 months now and use it daily. It takes awhile to get the ear piece to conform to your head/ear. The connection to my Nokia 6310i will drop and reconnect frequently only when I don't have an active call. Range is not impressive (varies from 3' to 20') but it does make talking while driving much more manageable. I saw no need for the belt clip and it is mounted as a static charging station on my desk. And yes if you do have this device on you cannot put on your glasses as you normally would. I have had no problems putting sunglasses on and off as I drive without disturbing the Jabra or the active call. Due to changes in ambient noise levels, sometimes I cannot turn the volume down low enough and it will be quite loud in a quiet environment. It needs improvement in all areas. It should be smaller, more comfortable, have longer range, better clarity and a longer talk time. Maybe with the next version.

Summary: Nice Idea But Far From Market Ready
Review: I bought this unit a month ago and I definitely wouldn't recommend it to others. The earpiece is difficult to adjust and my fiends on the receiving end don't like the voice quality. The earpiece needs to be recharged often. Before purchasing the Jabra FreeSpeak Bluetooth Headset, I would wait until the design is optimized. In the meantime, I am looking for something better.

Summary: It works so fine!!!!
Review: Well, I've purchased this bluetooth headset and I'm very happy with it, the possibility to use my T39m with my hands free is simply unbelievable.
The eargel fits so good that it doesn't seem that you are with it on!!

Summary: Great product -- VERY comfortable!
Review: I purchased the Jabra headset about a month ago, and have used it every day with my SonyEricsson T610 phone. I love it! I don't normally like to wear earpieces for more than 20 minutes or so, because my ear begins to ache. Not so with the Jabra -- I've worn it for hours (and have even forgot I was wearing it on several occasions). I have NO problems wearing it, with or without my glasses on.

My only complaint -- and it's a minor one -- is that the reception range diminishes pretty drastically when I'm near my Wi-Fi network access point. Other than that, the reception is great. I'd recommend this to anyone with a Bluetooth phone, who wants to keep things safe & easy when driving.

Summary: Jabra and my eye glasses
Review: I purchased the Jabra Free Speak headset a few months ago and at first it was a novelity, but after using the device with my eye glasses on it was very uncomfortable and made my eye glasses tilt down so much that I either had to remove the headset or take off my eye glasses. As for the quality, I found too much static when using it and worst of all the battery or talk time was far less than 3 hours. All in all, the concept is great, but for people who wear eye or sun glasses the Jabra needs much improvement.

Summary: Tempermental, but good when working.
Review: I've owned this headset for a good 8 months now. It is comfortable, neat looking and when it works there's nothing better.

It may be my area or my phone (T610), but it seems that almost everywhere I go the connection leaves something to be desired. It only works real well when my phone has perfect signal - if not I have to use the phone like regular as speaking w/ the headset cuts out every other word.

That said I've head real good things about Logitech's Bluetooth rendition on this. Check out their webpage: www.logitech.com

Summary: Great idea, could be better
Review: First off, the headset is only $20 if purchased with a Sony Ericsson T610. For that much, this is a must buy.

The concept is wonderful, and it works well for the most part. I can speak wirelessly with my phone elsewhere. The headset itself is comfortable - especially the eargel. It fits snugly and sound is clear.

Two gripes, however:
1) Battery life is less than impressive. Jabra claims 3 hrs. I have yet to get beyond 2. In fact, last night when I used it, I got a warning signal at exactly 1:51.

2) Bluetooth range is 30 feet only when in a clear path. My bathroom is 15 feet away. I get noticeable static on my end. If I close the door, everything becomes unintelligble. The interesting thing is that the person on the other end doesn't seem to notice a thing.

All in all, it's a great concept and works well aside from the two gripes listed above. I recommend it.

Summary: Jabra for BT Phones worth the $$$
Review: This is a great piece! It feels lighter on your ear than you'd expect, although it does take a couple of days to get used to its presence on your ear. People I call can hear me clearly, and the reception volume is solid as well. Setup was a cinch with my Sony t616 BT phone. Just followed the useful Jabra quick start guide, turned on BT on my t616, selected connect, and they were in touch. Another reviewer noted that you can use your BT phone up 20-30 ft away which gives you ample range, plus you can leave your cell in a central radius and not carry it around the house. This is true and it's great! It only took 2 hours for a full charge and you can talk for a few hours w/o worrying about recharge. Also, it costs half as much as other wireless headsets.
Its size makes it more discreet than other headsets-which I like.
Only reason I dont give it 5 stars is that it has slightly less than perfect clarity when listening to someone. Otherwise, this unit is wonderful.
