Summary: Road Warrior LiIon Slim Battery for Motorola StarTac Phone
Review: This battery DOES NOT WORK with my Motorola digital StarTac wireless telephone (ST7760). The manufacturer (iGo Corporation) says that even though its batteries are made to Motorola's specifications, they do not always work with the intended phone. He suggested I purchase a Motorola battery for my Motorola phone.

Summary: Reach Me Anywhere!
Review: Two years ago for my birthday, my mom got the brilliant idea that the perfect gift for me would be a pager. I'm not a doctor. (...) I'm not even a teenager who just wants to be cool. What would ever possess her to buy me a pager? But on my birthday, there it was...the Motorola LS550 Pager.

Design
This pager is standard size in my opinion. Not too big, but not too small. The screen is located on the top and displays the time and date. A clip is on the backside so you can attach the pager to your belt or pocket. The right side has rubber gripping so you can grasp the pager easily. The front of the pager has 3 buttons- one is plain, one has a dot, and one has a check.

The plain button is the way you view the numbers and scroll through the pagers received. The checked button is pushed to select a specific page or an option on the menu. The dotted button is the way to access the option or return to the main menu screen. Getting the hang of which button to push was a little tricky at first.

The Motorola LS550 Pager comes in 4 dazzling color choices. You can choose black, red, blue, or teal.

Features
The Motorola LS550 Pager can hold 40 pages. The time the page was received is also recorded. Unfortunately, the date is not recorded which is not a big deal, but would have been a nice feature.

Alerts: vibrate or a choice of 5 audio alerts.

Alarm: You can set an alarm to go off as you need it. You can set the alarm to go off daily, or weekly, or just the one time. This is a nice option. It can help you remember to daily take your medication, or remind you of a weekly appointment.

Private Time: I used this feature a lot! It allows you to receive pages, but will not alert you when one is received. It will not vibrate or beep. On the screen, there is a small Motorola symbol that flashes when a page is received. During Private Time, only the symbol flashes without the sounds or vibration. I set my pager to this setting when I was in class or church. I could check to see if the Motorola symbol was flashing and then return the call or check my voice mail at my convenience. This was my favorite feature because even on vibrate it would buzz or rattle against stuff if I had it tucked in my purse or backpack.

Delete Messages: You can choose to delete pages one at a time or clear the memory all at once.

Pager Off: If you wish, you can turn your entire pager off. You will not be able to receive any pages.

I actually ended up liking this pager a lot even though. I started out thinking it was a stupid idea. I commuted 45 miles to college every day and I liked that people could leave me messages while I was at school.

This pager was a little complicated to use when I first got it. I was able to get the hang of it after a little practice. Everything was simple and straight forward. There are no thrills or extras. It's a basic pager that does everything I needed it to do.

I liked the size of the buttons and the screen. I have seen other pagers where the buttons were so small, I had to use my fingernail to push them. The Motorola LS550 is easy to use. A man or someone with larger hands should not have a problem.

This pager uses 1 AAA battery. I go through one battery every 2-3 months so it does last quite a long time. Replacement is easy and the pager holds the memory while you change the battery.

Overall, I think this is a great pager. It met all of the needs I didn't even know I had. I have no complaints. Whether you have a high demand job or just want another way for people to be able to reach you, check out the Motorola LS550 Pager.
