Summary: Great clarity, terrible battery life
Review: No doubt about it, this phone has exceptional clarity. We have, however, experienced terrible battery performance.

1. Once the handset emits one or two "beeps," we have 5 - 15 seconds (at most) to conclude the call before the phone goes completely dead.

2. After six months, the battery seems have lost all "recharge" capability. We have to replace the battery already because the maximum life after a full charge is about an hour (even if you're not using it! - if it's just off the hook & not in use). Six months is not an acceptable lifespan!

Summary: no headset!
Review: Not a bad phone, but one of the reasons I bought this model was the review that said it had a plug for a headset (sorry, but the DUH doesn't apply - there are no plastic plugs to remove, and I double checked the manual to see if I was indeed missing something obvious. The other reviewer must be using a different model - maybe the 9410? Now we have a headset with no phone to plug it into!

Summary: Excellent product, love it!
Review: Product is the best 900 MHz phone on the market. I have tried others, but this one provides the best clarity and sound of all.

Summary: frustrating
Review: The form factor of the handset is a bit unweildy: large and heavy enough to notice, but too small to cradle between head and shoulder for brief two-handed operations.

The handset runs down its battery quickly.

The power supply on mine died within 4 months.

When the power goes out, the base station beeps annoyingly. So, if you're sleeping peacefully through a middle of the night power outage, the phone will wake you up. Further, it is far from clear how to make it stop this behavior.

All in all, this phone is a fair step *DOWN* from a simple table-top phone.

For the record, I'm not a neo-luddite; I'm a software engineer who carries a Pilot. I like tools that make my life easier. This just isn't one of them.

Summary: Cheap DSS phone - you get what you pay for
Review: The phone clarity is okay, but not great. Sounds as if I am talking in an echo chamber which is very disappointing. Distance is good though and I do not get a significant degradation as I leave the base. This is important since I go to my neighbor's house a lot. One problem - though it fits in my pocket, it is too easy to depress the talk button, causing the darn thing to turn on all the time.

Summary: Horrible phone
Review: This is a good phone, it gives great reception, etc. But 1) no headset jack 2) I have had it replaced 3 times, the phone just dies after a while, consider a panasonic gigrange or one of the colored vtech's

Summary: Can't beat this phone for the price
Review: This is a tremendous deal for a 900Mhz DSS Phone. I have found this phone VERY good quality with no complaints what so ever.

Summary: GREAT PHONE, buying a second one!!!
Review: This is the best cordless phone I have ever owned, and for the price, you can't beat it! I have used noisy cordless phones that pickup interference from florecent lights and computers, but this phone is crystal clear when near both. Range, you want range, this phone has range. I live in a canyon and I got in my car and drove up to the top of a hill and was able to dial out. This was line of site approximately 1/3 of a mile, NO JOKE. I have dropped this phone on concrete and it still works fine. Best part is the battery life, it goes days before needing charging. The phone is very comfortable when you have it up to your ear. It also has a mute button which works like a hold button, push it once muted push it again off mute. The ONLY down side to this phone is the belt clip, it has cracked. I would also have liked a backlight for the touchpad, but I guess you can't have everything.

Summary: Worthless! Do not buy.
Review: This is the most worthless phone I've owned by ATT. Not as clear as I had hoped. There is an annoying beep. So please listen to other peoples warnings about this phone. What clarity? I had better clarity in my old 25 channel cordless.
