Summary: Great phone
Review: This is a great phone. It is wall-mountable, has crystal-clear sound quality, and has a space for an optional battery-backup in the base for use during power failures. The handset is comfortable to speak on, though a bit on the large and heavy side. The battery lasts a long, long time. If it runs out, the optional battery in the base can be swapped (it keeps that one fully charged at all times).

Summary: A great phone!
Review: This is an excellent phone. Very clear sound, good range, and full features (2-line, caller id, call waiting id, headset jack). You can charge a second battery in the base, and it will power the base during a power failure. The Uniden headset works fine; other brands of headset (unshielded) may hear noise from the spread-spectrum radio transmitter. Battery life is excellent. Nice industrial design (I don't like the look and feel of some competing products such as Vtech). The only negative is that the handset is a bit on the heavy side compare to the small cellphone I'm accustomed to, but that's true of most cordless phones.

Don't listen to the reviewer who says he's unhappy with this phone after using it for 8 months. That's impossible, it's been on the market for less than 3 months.

Highly recommended, and the price is quite reasonable for what you get.

Summary: A great phone!
Review: This is truly a fantastic phone! Probably the best feature of this phone is it's incredible range. I live on the third floor of an apartment building, and it's range will bring me down to the first floor workout room, even down to the parking garage, surrounded by feet of concrete! As if that's not enough I can go out into the parking lot, and a little further without a bit of static! No other phone I've ever used comes close to this kind of range.

The design is super comfortable, the speakerphone's alright (never liked speaker anyways...). My one complaint? Not enough volume, but I have that problem with every phone I've tried. I've used this phone side-by-side with cordless phones by Panasonic, Sony and AT&T and none of them match the quality or range of this phone (only the AT&T was more comfortable to the ear). And another note - This phone's pretty tough! I'm admittedly fairly rough on my phones, and this phone's stood up to being dropped, sat on, extreme heat... You name it. And done it all with flying colors!

In summary, VERY NICE! I'd definitely buy it again.

Summary: Good Value
Review: Very functional to use with good range and clarity. The headset jack is it's best feature allowing freedom of movement. Battery life is short but there is a charger slot on the base for a second battery. However replacement batteries for this phone are hard to find other than directly from Uniden.

I plan to buy another but I have been looking for a merchant who also stocks a spare battery.

Summary: Excellent Phone
Review: Well made, solid feeling product. An improved product vs. Uniden two line phones I have purchased in the past. All features worked great out of the box. Caller-ID feature requires simply that you have arranged to have that service with your local phone company.
