Summary: I agree Horrible Phone
Review: I purchased this phone because of the features it had to offer as well as the price. Not only does the phone click and have a horrible echo, the noise it makes to make a call, check the caller id, or to dial is enough to annoy anyone. To top it all off the answering maching does not work and Vtech will do nothing about it and acts as if it is my fault for thier poor equipment. I would have purchased another because of the features however, with the treatment I have received thus far why would I? I guess that saying does apply, "if it sounds to good to be true it usally is".

Summary: Good phone
Review: I use this phone at work (waiting until I recieve my REAL deskside phone) and it works pretty well. I can walk around the whole office building and hear no static at all. It does cut in and out a little when really far away, but there are a lot of computers in the office which would cause noticable interference on any cordless phone. All in all, a quality phone and a surprise from VTech.

Review: My roommate has one of these phones. Whenever I talk on it, it cuts out so that I can't hear the other person. I have to constantly ask them to repeat themselves.

Summary: A good phone
Review: Ok, I agree with some of the reveiws, but I had mine for four years. It has been from Hawaii to Pennsylvania, dropped by drunk friends, sat on for 3 hours (during wrestling pay per veiws), thrown at various people and animals, beer spilled on it, slammed in angry rage fits on the cradle just to name a few (I am not a lush but was in the Army). It finally died just a day ago. Loud beeps, oh well!! I liked it so much that I am ordering another from Vtech, I hope it does me as well as the old one!!!

Summary: Not a phone you'd want to use very often
Review: The beeping when you dial the phone, check the caller ID, check your messages, etc, are obnoxiously loud. There's a hum in the background, and you can hear a slight echo of your own voice in the receiver when you're talking. I'm in the process of exchanging the phone.

Review: We had researched many different cordless phones with these features and were set on this one. Once we read the reviews of several people...we were hesitant. We also read reveiews on other phones with similar features that were more costly and most of them also had complaints so we decided to give it a try anyway. We are very pleased. We did find the base ringer loud so we turned it off. The handset ringer was sufficient since there are other lines in the home. The three mailboxes work beautifully for child, parents and small business...
